First time on ldlc..Fast delivery, product as expected...perfect. I would recommend.
I had bought this projector, especially for 3d blu-rays, I am not disappointed, the 3d is less dark than on the tv.with the good 3d, the rendering is spectacular. In 2d, the rendering is very correct, I can have an image of 3 meters wide, with 1.50 meter of distance, from the projector, compared to the wall. The fan can be heard when there is no sound, but the noise does not bother me. The price seemed to me to be advantageous compared to my expectations.
Intended to equip a small home cinema room, I chose a short focal length, because the room is in the attic, it was necessary to put the projector in front of the first seats, hence the choice of a short focal length. Beware of the projection ratio, it increases if you make a trapezium correction (the image size decreases after trapezium correction), hence the need to move the projector backwards to maintain the image size.
Apart from this adjustment, the quality is good and the brightness is sufficient for a screening in a dark room.
Delivery in 48 hours without any problems
The product was as expected and easy to install.
Recommend for home cinema
As I didn't want to make a whole installation at home (stand + plintes + 10m HDMI cable...) I chose this short focal length projector.
The result is perfect: at 1m20, I have an image of 2m80 wide! and the only installation needed: a chair.
the + :
Super configurable device, trapezium correction which allows it to be used at any angle and therefore to aim at any height on the wall, 3 adjustable feet with screws. Comes with a carrying case, the projector is quite small and easy to carry.
Quite bright, but to get a good image, it is better to be in the dark.
No flickering noted
Backlit remote control usable in the dark
The device turns off quickly (a few seconds of cooling)
The image of a film in low definition remains very beautiful! And in Full HD : Wouahou !
the - :
Heats up (but I think it's inevitable)
a bit noisy, but frankly with a home cinema, it is quickly forgotten
HDMI input only, not analog or VGA. Wii user, think of buying the small Wii2HDMI converter
Colour a little less beautiful than on a TV but it's still great.
Didn't test the 3D... but very happy with it for cinema use.
I recommend it. The short focal length costs more but makes the camera much more versatile (you can take it on holiday or to a friend's house)
