The ASUS ROG Spatha mouse is a great way to test yourself against your opponents. This model has the particularity of a wired and wireless mode. It's up to you to choose according to your desires and the need of the moment. On the technical side, the Spatha offers 12 programmable buttons, an 8200 DPI laser sensor and a three-zone backlight.

With or without wire

The ASUS ROG Spatha Mouse gives you the freedom to choose wired or wireless gaming. Included in the package is a wireless receiver that doubles as a charging dock when your mouse's battery runs out. Simply place the Spatha on the magnetic charging dock and watch the charge level via an LED indicator.

If you opt for the wired mode, you can take advantage of a 2 metre braided USB cable or a 1 metre plastic cable. You will find an acceleration of 30 g and a data transmission rate of 2000 Hz.

Special features for MMO

This model will be ideal for your MMO games. Discover 12 programmable buttons, 6 of which are on the thumb for a flawless responsiveness. The Spatha mouse is equipped with an 8200 DPI laser sensor that can be set to two sensitivity levels. For precise aiming, select a low speed and for the rest of the games select the standard speed.

Its ergonomic design is designed for right-handed people and those with a palm or clip grip. Finally, the Spatha has a non-stick coating and a rubber cover for an easy and comfortable grip. You can rely on your mouse for a long time thanks to a magnesium alloy chassis.

Exclusive easy-to-remove socket switch

The ROG Spatha features an exclusive socket design that allows the switch to be removed for easy replacement. Simply unscrew the four screws on the base of the mouse with the supplied screwdriver and then remove the body from its base to access the sockets. Nothing could be easier!

But while you're waiting to replace those famous switches, you can take advantage of the Omron versions that make up your Spatha. These are capable of withstanding up to 20 million clicks.

I do not recommend it as a wireless mouse.

Wireless works when it wants to. Installation and troubleshooting is HYPER COMPLIED. It bugs for reasons that no one clearly warns you about, and as far as solutions go, I'm still looking for them. It seems that randomness is a whole parameter of this mouse. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, even though I do exactly the same thing every time. If it was cheaper, I'd like it, but at this price, it's really bad and I've had it for months. Sometimes the wireless stops working for no apparent reason, sometimes I manage to reconnect it, sometimes not even though I do the same thing every time. Anyway. With the wire connected, it's a great mouse that works more than well but in this case, I would have bought a cheaper wired version. Here I am after 10 months of use.

    Décu

I bought this mouse for gaming use. The battery is decent, it works very well during big gaming sessions +10h without recharging. The design is nice, and is comfortable for big hands, although a bit heavy, but you get used to it.
After 6 months, I started to have problems with the connectivity of the mouse and its cradle: it was not working anymore. It was impossible to connect them together, the mouse would only work when plugged in.
It was sent to an after sales service (and stayed there for 4 months...) and was replaced.
I've been using it for a while now, but it's not working anymore, and I'm not sure if it's working properly... I'm not sure if it's working properly, but I'm not sure if it's working properly...
    To conclude :
The 2 mice I had had problems in less than a year. So I bought myself a beautiful mouse that was completely unusable. For 140€ (I thought it was more expensive 2 years ago) it's really disappointing.

    Rolls well

After more than a year of service, it still works well.
No problem to deplore, except for the surface of the shooter which is in a material that I can't really describe, a mix of rubber and silicone, I don't know, I didn't look.
The only problem is the relief of the structure which is a real mess, and which must be cleaned very regularly with great care if you do not want to see it go to pieces.

Apart from the slight problem presented above, there is nothing to complain about, it is pleasant to use on a daily basis, has a good charging time, and its positioning on its charging base is really very simple.
It's also a great storage case, so you can easily put it in a bag with your laptop when travelling.

The buttons are easily accessible, and the design allows you to get used to them quickly and use them with complete peace of mind.

I would have just added a cover for the plug, which is on the front, to protect it from dust and other elements during use.

    An unworthy product from Asus

As a regular Asus customer (motherboards, graphics cards, two monitors, and three laptops), I dropped Logitech and switched to this mouse over a year ago. I've been using this mouse for over a year now, and I've had nothing but problems: 1/ permanent micro-cuts, which cut the cursor path over a few centimetres (changing the port, reinstalling drivers etc... doesn't change anything); 2/ the cursor only moves two or three millimetres on the screen up-down or right-left (resetting the menus doesn't help, even clean reinstallation and registry cleaning, nothing. Changing the menu yes, but a few weeks later you have to change again).
This product is just an industrial shame, I just bought a Logitech G903.

    Excellent

I've been using this mouse for 6 months now and it's perfect in every way =) serious ^^ a bit big but there's nothing better ^^ ; associated with a fabric mat and here is the ultimate combo ; all the rgb is adjustable in the purest precision, it's a pity that the battery doesn't last more than 2 days .

    No problem but...

No problem, but be careful because the mouse is big so if you have small hands it will be difficult to use. Otherwise, what I like most about this mouse is the way it glides properly on the mouse pad.

    Spatha

Honestly comfortable, ergonomic, wired or wireless. It's crazy. It's also infinitely programmable, the price is high but it's worth it. The price is high but it's worth it. I'm a fan of Asus rog and I've never been disappointed so keep it up Asus.

    excellent product

I have owned this mouse since 2016 and have had no problems with it. I still haven't changed the main keys with their 20 million click duration. In Bluetooth the battery lasts for a whole gaming session (more than 5 hours in a row). And the keys on the side are very ergonomic and easily differentiated. The only downside is that you can't change the weight.

    A big stew

The mouse is huge, the grip is quite difficult at first. Too many buttons on the side, it's unmanageable.
But most of all, after 2 weeks, the wireless was no longer working, and after 5 months the mouse gave up on me!
