Its power follows you everywhere
With a guide number of 43 (m, ISO100), you have enough power for most situations. The Speedlite 430EX III-RT weighs just 295g and is just 113.8mm long. So it fits easily into your bag. Powered by standard AA batteries, it fully charges in just 3.2 seconds.
The controls on the Speedlite 430EX III-RT are similar to those on most EOS cameras. Shortcut controls give you access to essential functions, while the control dial allows you to make adjustments quickly. A lock switch prevents accidental changes to settings. The LCD screen provides quick access to settings and shooting information. Its backlighting makes it easy to read, even in low light.
Create magnificent portraits
The moving flash head reflects light off large surfaces such as walls or ceilings to create delicate, shadow-free lighting, ideal for portraits. Fold out the built-in reflector panel to create a reflection in the subject's eyes and enhance the expressiveness of the portrait. Use thesupplied indirect flash adapter to soften the light even further. The included warm colour filter warms up the colour temperature of the flash, to more accurately reflect the colour of ambient indoor lighting.
Use the Speedlite 430EX III-RT with other flash units such as the Speedlite 600EX-RT. Control the Speedlite 430EX III-RT in external mode with a shutter release such as the ST-E3-RT or with the Speedlite transmitter built into some EOS cameras.
