    warning about MSI Z170A gaming pro carbon

    The delivery time is a bit long but unusual at ldlc, so we'll put that down to the complicated climate at the moment 41°C in Belgium...

    I already had this memory kit on my MSI Z170A gaming pro carbon, wanting to upgrade to 32GB recently for my flight simulator, the 16GB had a 99% cap... I almost sent back the second ram kit because it could not boot and on the MSI website in the compatibility list, this kit is said to be incompatible in 4*8GB, only functional in 2*8GB... I updated the bios and in xmp still impossible to boot but if you manually enter the ram configuration then it works! I guess MSI says incompatible if the XMP profile doesn't work.

    Bought to accompany a ryzen r7 1700 on a gigabyte B350 gaming 3 CM.
