Overview
The MVK500AM Double Leg Tripod Kit consists of a lightweight (60mm bowl) MVH500A video head and a MVT502AM double leg video tripod (aluminium, half height spacer).

The MVH500A is a lightweight head with a wider plate for mounting HDSLR cameras and a sliding plate for balancing the latest interchangeable lens cameras. The 500 provides smoother shooting with greater control and can support equipment up to 5kg.

It is the most compact video head in the successful Bridging Technology range.

The MVH500A comes with a 60mm half-sphere video tripod and replaces the Manfrotto 701HDV video head.

Smooth shots: The 500 is equipped with smooth cartridges on the pan and tilt axis to ensure smoothness, control and accuracy with every camera movement.
Faster, easier and safer to use: The side locking system makes it easier and faster to remove the camera from the head from above. No additional safety locks are required.
The 500 has a preset counterbalance of 2.4 kg, but it supports equipment weighing up to 5 kg.
It has a 3/8" Easy Link connector that allows installation of an external monitor or other accessory equipment.

    Very good foot for the video

    Very good stand for mounting a 1 or 2 kg camcorder. The movement is smooth, which is not usually the case with a stand designed for photography. High quality construction. Quick to unfold and store in the black and red bag provided. Two small drawbacks: the positioning of the base on my Sony camera is not optimal and the small screw on the base that locks the base has no stop, which means that it can get lost.
