This mouse reminds me of a mx705, which I have and love, but smaller, too small. So I'm keeping my old mx705 and passing on the m280 to whoever wants it in my family. And I don't understand why nowhere do they mention the Unifying software! It's a bit of a hassle for those who don't know about it to switch the mouse from one computer to another.
Mouse purchased to complement a laptop.
It installs straight away, no problem. It's nice to use, small enough for the portable side and yet it feels good in the hand. The clicks are nice and so is the scroll wheel.
Failed in less than a year of use.
I bought this mouse to go with my new computer but since I started using it on several computers, the dongle (the end connected to the computer) started having trouble being detected by the computers
It took me about an hour to unplug and replug the dongle before it was detected. I am now playing the lottery with this dongle every time I want to use this mouse, knowing that even after successfully plugging it in it disconnects itself after 30min.

Button clicks are a bit noisy.
A battery that should last a long time. To be seen in the future but happy with the purchase.

I really like the "battery" system, which lasts a long time, but I'll have to check it over time.
