silent fan
Used to change the nozzle cooling fan on a 3D printer to make it quieter.
Smaller hub size
Thanks to a more streamlined and compact motor design, the hub is smaller in size compared to traditional 6cm fans. By effectively increasing the blade area, the NF-A4x10 significantly improves the pressure level as well as the flow.
|
Flow Channels
The impeller of the NF-A4x10 is equipped with flow ducts on the face of the fan. The flow acceleration generated at the tips of the blades creates a more massive, less dispersed suction, thus increasing efficiency and reducing vortex noise disturbance.
|
||
AAO Frame
Noctua's AAO(Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) frames are equipped with anti-vibration mounts and exclusive optimisations to push the limits of performance and silence.
|
Stepped Inlet Design
Noctua's Stepped Inlet design adds turbulence to the inlet flow, allowing a gradual transition from laminar to turbulent flow. This reduces noise emissions, generates a more massive flow and increases suction power.
|
||
Inner Surface Microstructures
As the blade tips move in a boundary layer influenced by the presence of an Inner Surface Microstructure, the flow separation that takes place at the suction level becomes almost non-existent.
|
Integrated anti-vibration dampers
The integrated anti-vibration mounts, made of extra soft silicone, limit the transmission of vibrations while ensuring perfect compatibility with standard fastening systems.
|
||
SSO2 Bearing
This is the latest generation of the SSO2 bearing, which is even more optimised. The SSO2 is equipped with a rear magnet closer to the axle for greater precision, durability and stability.
|
Smooth Commutation Drive 2
Noctua's latest SCD system ensures smooth operation by eliminating torque variations and switching noise. As a result, the NF-A4x10 remains very quiet even at close range.
|
||
3-speed adjustment for total flexibility
The NF-A4x10 FLX(FLX for Flexibility) comes with a L.N.A. (Low Noise Adapter) that lowers the noise level of the motor.(low noise) adapter that reduces the maximum fan speed from 4500 to 3700 rpm, allowing fine tuning for maximum airflow or silence.
|
Many wiring options
While the main power cable to the fan is short(20cm), a 30cm cable is provided to solve any distance problems. Both cables are fully sheathed.
|
||
3-pin / 2-pin adapter and polarity protection
The NF-A4x10 is supplied with an adaptor to change from a 3-pin MOLEX to a 2-pin connector. A built-in diode provides polarity protection on the 2-pin connectors.
|
OmniJoin Adapter Kit
The NF-A4x10 comes with an OmniJoin adapter kit. Simply cut the cable from your original fan, and connect it to the adapter using the supplied connectors. You can then connect your NF-A4x10 to the proprietary fan connector.

6 Year Manufacturer's Warranty
Noctua fans are renowned for both their quality and their amazing longevity. As with all Noctua models, the NF-A4x10 has an MTBF of over 150,000 hours of testing and is backed by a full 6 year manufacturer's warranty.

Used to change the nozzle cooling fan on a 3D printer to make it quieter.
Fitted to replace a chipset fan that hummed like a fighter jet. Perfect, efficient and quiet.
Impressive bundle for such a small fan.
The packaging is far too big for the contents, you could fit 5 or 6 in the box! Big waste of packaging...
Noctua should take inspiration from their redux range.
Very nice and quiet product corresponding to what I was looking for. Multiple connectors allowing a bit of everything according to the needs. I'm not sure how much I'm going to pay for it, but I'm sure it's going to cost me a lot of money to buy it.
I bought the noctua on the advice of others, as the original was a 12V, so I did the same.
except that theNAS D-LINK DNS-320L only delivers 5V, accepted by the original fan, but not the noctua, it starts running at 6.4V ...
I'm very unhappy with my purchase. even if Noctua and LDLC have nothing to do with it.
Really quiet. It can be put in the category of high-end equipment. Furthermore, the article comes with accessories for the assembly.
In the same universe: quiet fan, 40x40x20 mm
