Connected to an ALPINE car radio, the sound is really TOP. Door integration and mounting are perfect.
On the other hand, the protective grilles are of very poor quality and do not hold at all; they come off by themselves at the slightest closing of the doors: normally no retaining device is provided.
I'm really sorry because this kind of economy is detrimental to FOCAL's reputation; so one star less just for this problem.
Irreproachable quality of sound, that knocks, put in doors well prepared.
You have to be patient, you'll have to get used to them.
I plugged them into a car radio at home and let them run between two FM stations to get some pink noise, I increased the volume gradually.
Inspection on unpacking, the grille of one Twitter is unstuck, the plastic around it is cracked. These are manufacturing defects, there was no shock.
Hello quality control. At this price I thought it was included...
I had a hard time finding them with the grills included, I should have bought them without, it would have cost me less, the grills go out of style, they don't hold even at low volume. When I close the door they go out too.
I know that for them to be well purified the fixings must not be visible, there are not 36 solutions but more than annoying to find its grids on the floor or even outside on a car park.
10/10 for the sound quality, 4/10 for the manufacturing, a shame.
Very good sound quality and construction, good documentation, excellent sound and voice clarity, as original replacement in a MERCEDES VIANO 2012.
Fast delivery, as expected, price in the most competitive segment. I will do it again for other vehicles.
