It was time to update my PC configuration but on a very small budget, I got this i3 with a small motherboard and 16 GB of ram, all for less than 300 euros, which is perfect.
I'm a gamer and the tower works very well, with a really powerful processor, even with several programs open.
Perfect for entry-level gamers.
Please note that this version of the processor requires a graphics card to work (no native display only).
The performance is good for my wife's small gamer configuration.
The ventirad does its job (it doesn't heat up, so it's fine).
*very surprised at the speed of the i3-12100, it's replacing an old pc (i5 3570K) that's just used to broadcast video. it boots up very quickly and the videos are of course impeccable, with an 8GB msi pro B660-G and an old gtx 970.

Having been able to test often enough the difference between AMD and Intel, (of equivalent range) for me, there is no need to debate, my choice will remain on Intel! Fast, multi-tasking, it does not falter at any time! Just perfect !
I would use this processor again for games only of course, but beware it runs very large graphics cards like a 6900xt without Bottleneck.
Best quality/performance/price ratio, as powerful as a 9600k in games, it's crazy!
