A handy little tuner to compensate for the lack of a recorder on my TV. The (personal) USB key I use for recordings can be viewed on several devices; however, the file format is TS and not MP4 (a free converter can be used).
I don't plug it in permanently, but only if I need to record a TV programme. In this case, the TV aerial input needs to be on a "Y" in order to power the TV and the tuner; when it is not powered up, the TV output is cut off.
I hate ads, so I record them, remove them with my computer and then watch them, and for series I wait until I've had a whole season.
The tuner found all the channels available and the ergonomics of the remote control are correct.
Better compared to another DTT tuner in my possession (Fuji Onkyo FT902HD bought in 2014), as the maximum length of a .ts file recorded has increased from 30 mins (around 1 GB) to 2 h (around 4 GB).

I use it to record programmes from the TF1 and M6 HD DTT channels that are not available on replay onto a USB stick, and this device does the job very well, unlike the Philips model I had before.
One star less, however, due to the fact that the display in standby mode always stays on at full power, despite the possibility of adjusting it, which doesn't change anything. The display setting in standby mode works well though.
This space-saving device has a dual function: DTT decoder and digital TV programme recorder.
It's fairly simple to use.

This receiver is very easy to set up.
I use it for Belgian and French DTT channels.
Received quickly and well packaged. I do not regret my purchase. Installation went without a hitch. All the channels - national and local - were detected. The ability to record 2 programmes simultaneously is very practical. The picture quality is impeccable. Maximum resolution: 1920*1080 (no 4K).
Overall: Very satisfied, I recommend this C.G.V. product.
Bought it 1 month ago and it worked fine. Then yesterday 5 channels disappeared!?! I have contacted Cgv and am waiting for their reply

Given the price, and despite my little experience in computers, I went ahead anyway, adding a 1 Terabyte Seagate external disk:
It works perfectly, even for recording two DTT programmes at the same time.
The small drawback that is sometimes mentioned, pointing out that you can't play back an extra channel when you record two programmes, is of no interest, since you can take it live on the TV set! Why would you want to use the recorder?
