ASUS 27 LED ProArt PA278QV
It's a screen that's really optimised for content creation. I use it for the post-production of the content I offer on YouTube, and it's a joy!
Enjoy it without moderation.
It's perfect!

It's perfect!
I'm delighted with this screen and would recommend it 100% - the colour quality is really impressive!
With undeniable quality at an ultra-competitive price, the colour rendering is more than up to scratch and very pleasing to the eye. Whether it's games or films, it's simply magnificent. Enjoy without moderation.
Screen in line with Arnaud Fritsch's assessment, a blogger specialising in this area.
Good value for money
I'd been looking for a long time for a screen that met these two criteria:
Firstly, it was designed to incorporate a technology that emits low levels of blue light and the screen displays the light without flickering (anti-flicker technology). I now have no more eye pain.
Secondly, colour fidelity. This is really important to ensure that on all media, visual projects are displayed as I see them on my monitor. This wasn't the case before and led to a lot of frustration in relation to the time spent working.
A great acquisition. The screen is very well made and at a fair price. What's more, the screen has TCO certification, which is a very good bonus!
A screen that, for a contained price (around 250€ in June 2024), delivers an impeccable image for photo retouching (sRGB in particular).
IPS, so viewing angles don't move, with 2.5K resolution, hyper comfortable and a very high quality anti-reflective treatment.
Day-to-day use is extremely pleasant and ergonomic (USB 3.0 hub, settings in all directions, simple, easy-to-activate menus).
Note the high default brightness (which can be adjusted as soon as you switch to sRGB or Rec 709 mode).
Connections are comprehensive (mini display port, HDMI, USB 3.0 cable).
For the rest (video viewing, video games), freesync means no more image tearing.
Coming from a 2015 22-inch full HD Iiyama, the improvement in quality is impressive.
As for the speed, there's no USB-C (we're still talking entry-level) and anecdotal sound (only 2 sockets, one of which is a headphone socket that can be used to power Bose PC speakers without any noticeable loss compared to the PC connection).
All in all, it's excellent value for money, not just for those who want to do some serious photo/video editing, but for everyone else too.
In conclusion, it's highly recommendable.
Finally, I'd like to mention the advice I received from the LDLC Bordeaux Pasteur team, who gave me all the information I needed about this product. Many thanks to them.
The screen is very faithful to colour rendition, yet gentle on the eyes. The stand can be rotated 360 degrees.
Very good product. I use it with a Mac mini M1 combined with the excellent BetterDisplay software that lets me manage different displays. The Asus ProArt screen delivers a beautiful image with a wide range of settings. Very pleased.
Good value for money screen for photo editing. The size is ideal for my use.
I was very pleased with my purchase and the delivery was very fast and careful.
I connected the screen to my Macbook Pro, and looked at a series of my photos, which I know very well from having worked on them in Photoshop, and there was a nice surprise: the colours were perfect and seemed to be accurate and faithful. The colours are really present and there's no exaggerated flattering saturation. But it's all subjective, so I'm going to test it with a probe and some good software, followed by 2 or 3 photo prints in a good lab, and I'll be back to give you the results.
Perfectly suited to my needs. A real pleasure for photo/colour editing and even multimedia. And the switch from fullHD to 2.5K has clearly changed the way I use it (more things displayed on the screen so no need to have 2).
All that's missing is USB-C and that's perfect (but that's reserved for the more expensive monitors in the range).
It's a good screen, and I chose it for photo editing, an area in which it excels.
I didn't want to invest a lot of money in it, but at this price, it's bound to make satisfied users.
Very nice screen, very good colour rendering, practical settings to work properly.
Very happy with my choice. Picked up in Ldlc shop, very nice staff ?
I am very pleased with my first experience with LDLC and I am not disappointed.
The delivery man took good care of the product, so far it's fine.
I bought it for digital painting and the screen is of good quality, the colours are beautiful.
I hope it will last for a long time because I will use it for my work in the future.
For my illustration work I was looking for a screen that was as faithful as possible to the real colours - having had several surprises between my work on screen and the printed result - at a reasonable price (less than 500-).
Now the screen-print result is identical and I know that I can work serenely without stress. I did not need to change the settings but it is possible to recalibrate with the buttons on the screen.
Connected via hdmi with my laptop, I spread my work screen over both of them, which is much more comfortable than my 15" alone!
I took this screen to edit my photos, and it turns out that it is excellent, it is much easier to see things that we could have missed without realizing it, the angles of view are very good, I feel a clear difference with my other screen (which is a gaming screen 165hz with TN panel)
I use it for some games like Red Dead Redemption 2 and I literally rediscover the game (then 75hz on this kind of game is acceptable)
I also took a calibration probe to calibrate it regularly, but it was already very well calibrated
I think it's the best choice for those who practice graphic arts, moreover the 2K is very pleasant and the 27" size allows to work comfortably
Screen to be connected to a Mac mini 2 to be acquired at the end of the year. The screen is excellent with nice colours. The order and delivery at LDLC went well. The delivery time was fast and the reception in the shop was very friendly.
The screen is perfect for my 3D and photoshop work, factory colour is perfect, I recommend. The shipping Ldlc super as usual
I needed a screen to do graphics, especially Matte Painting and Digital Painting, unlike my previous screens this one is still great. After calibrating the screen with my personal sensor, the screen was already well calibrated.
Nice colours and everything else goes with it
I recommend it without any worries
Product was as expected. Just the package with no extra protection except the original screen box. This was pierced but did not damage the product. Hence only 4 stars
At last a photo quality notch without real competition in this price range, its variety of connectors is a plus (practical to have 2xPC connected to the same notch). Different cables provided. Height / orientation adjustments complete the productSolution to combine pro and amateur photo use
I am an illustrator and I was looking for a screen with true colours without adjustments for my work. The size is perfect for me, I have a nice working space and the characters are not too small. The height adjustable stand is great, especially when I'm working on a tablet to be able to raise the screen and see my drawing references or an overall view of what I'm doing. The IPS panel allows you to have the same rendering no matter what angle you're looking at, which is important when you're spending time adjusting your colours. The connectivity is complete and the USB3 ports are finally practical.
A sober screen, the pixels are hardly noticeable, the anti-reflection is perfect. The colours (after some small adjustments) are faithful, with a nice uniform brightness
There are all the possible connectivity, including USB-C.
All this for a good price-quality ratio
I recommend it for anyone who is looking for a screen that is good for photo and video processing
