I purchased the G.Skill Ripjaws V Series RAM five years ago and am extremely pleased with my purchase. These memory modules are built with high quality components and designed to deliver excellent performance.
The installation process was very simple and straightforward. The modules fit perfectly into my motherboard and were immediately recognised by my system. The heat sinks also offer excellent cooling performance and keep my system running smoothly.
What I like most about the G.Skill Ripjaws V Series RAM is the speed and responsiveness it offers. My system now runs much faster and smoother, allowing me to multi-task and run resource-intensive applications without any lag or slowdown. This has greatly improved my overall productivity and gaming experience.
The build quality of these memory modules is also very impressive. They seem very robust and well made, and I have no doubt that they will last for years to come.
Overall, I would highly recommend the G.Skill Ripjaws V Series RAM to anyone looking to improve their system performance. It's a great investment in your computer's performance and will certainly make a noticeable difference to its overall speed and responsiveness.
2 extra RAM bars for my pc, I can run more software at the same time so it's handy!
Hello,
Like many, I was already doing a lot of shopping "online" (all categories of goods).
With the "crisis" (health, eh?), some sites (and subcontractors) have had difficulty ensuring the logistics with the increase in orders.
Well, for the time being, LDLC is doing a good job & my order was well prepared/delivered within the expected time.
As far as RAM is concerned, the capacity of the PC has been multiplied by 3, so it breathes a lot better!
The package was received in good condition, well packaged.
The ram works correctly, no worries, just a setting to do in the bios because they are not recognized at the right frequency.
I've been using it for a while now and it's not working properly, but it's a good idea to check it out.
I'm very pleased with the quality of the product and the service. I'm very pleased with the quality of the product and the service I received.
Thank you.
Very satisfied with this 2 x 8GB kit installed very easily in a DELL G5-5090. The two sticks were well recognised directly and tested successfully (using several stress tests supplied with the PC).
However, with the heatsink, these solid looking strips are much wider than a standard strip. This is not a problem for me as I only have one kit mounted and therefore have space between my four memory slots (dual-chan), but I don't know what it will be like if I want to add a second kit to go to 32GB. I tested just to see (without booting the PC) the mounting of two memory sticks next to each other and the heat sinks seem to touch each other..... so what about the impact?
But for my part and for my current use (two strips in dual-chan) I am very satisfied.
I'm very happy with the way it works and the way it's delivered to me. .... Thank you LDLC.
Having used this brand before, I can only recommend these for their good quality.
It is the cheapest DDr4 at 2666Mhz in CL15, and when you know the importance of latency: a 2400Mhz strip in CL14 is more efficient than one in 2666Mhz in CL16 or 17...
I've been using it for a while now, but it's a good idea to check it out. LDLC at the top ;)
Purchase of a second kit to upgrade to 32GB.
No problem, they look good and do what you want them to.
Nothing more to say except don't miss out on these great RAM strips.
Frankly, I love this kit. The bars are very nice and very powerful. I've been using them with a MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon AC + I5 9600k motherboard and they work like a charm. And as usual, LDLC at the top ;)
No worries for the last two months, except for the height of the heatsink which prevented me from fitting the ventirad I wanted. But otherwise I highly recommend it considering the price. Hopefully I won't have a failure.
I chose these because they offer the best CAS for its class. It runs at 2666mh as does the proc, so everything is at maximum capacity.
The only downside (hence the rating) is the space the radiators take up...
Ok you need a look to sell, but this one ! When we know the usefulness of the radiators on the RAM... Taking up a lot of space for nothing, it's a problem for mounting a watercooling radiator.
I bought this as part of a machine upgrade, recommended by LDLC staff (price range, frequency and especially brand). I've been using it for a while now, but it's a good idea to check it out and see if it's working properly. It's a good idea to check it out and see if it's working properly.
For my Ryzen 5 1600, DDR4 2666 MHz is the max frequency so no need to go higher.
Then it was the CAS 15 15 15 that made me say "yes I do!"
No other manufacturer goes that low natively in dual channel! G.Skill for ever !
This kit is an example of how easy it is to install and configure.
You install, you boot, in the bios you select the XMP profile already in memory and all timings are perfectly matched.
As a result, performance and stability are guaranteed. A small additional luxury that is not to be underestimated. Where my previous RAM kits required scrupulous respect of the voltage, this kit has the luxury of being able to accept downward variations, thus saving power without loss of stability or performance.
I am delighted with G-Skill.
Nothing special, there's no point in taking RAM with a higher frequency you won't see any difference with this one.
Good value for money.
I just find the heatsinks a bit big, is that really necessary?
2 kits bought for a total of 32 GB of RAM, everything seems to work well on my new configuration based on Ryzen R7 1700X and a MSI X370 Sli motherboard, even if this reference of RAM was not tested and validated by MSI in terms of compatibility.
Make sure you strictly respect the AMD recommendations on the RAM frequency according to the number of memory sticks you have: for 4 sticks, 1866Mhz.
The first time I started up, I used a single strip to be able to set its frequency in the BIOS. Then, no problem. In automatic at this frequency, without overclocking, it runs at 13 - 13 - 13 - 13 - 31.
Finally, LDLC, as always at the top for the speed of delivery!
GSkill, great as usual! Quick and easy configuration using the XMP profile in 2666MHz...
