I recommend it. Very practical, very simple and the aesthetics are very good. The little blue LED in the top left corner when you download documents flashes and when it's finished it goes back to normal. Quite light. I recommend you buy a protective cover (The one I ordered from Amazon of 2.5 " fits perfectly. Very good. I've been using it for a while now, but it's a bit of a hiccup when you hold it in your hands.

being a faithful WD, I decided to try a Seagate, based on all the positive reviews but it's a big disappointment. this drive, bought in January 2018, quickly showed signs of instability, and since this morning doesn't work at all (I hear a squeaking noise in a loop, as soon as I connect it). I had bought the same model in April to replace it, thinking that I had bad luck with the first one, but I have already started to hear this same squeaking noise which does not bode well... in short, I think it is more a case of poor quality manufacturing than of having had bad luck twice in a row!
Besides, I have a WD mechanical disk that is still running since 1998...
I bought this hard drive to store my family photos and movies. It's the second one I've bought and it's a very good product in terms of quality/price ratio.

Nothing to say, this hard drive is small, compact, quite quiet, great.

Bought in emergency to replace my other HD which has just failed: false contact. Not having time to send it back I open it up and see that there is a huge gap in the connectors, and that I can't do anything about it. The only way to connect it to my pc is to twist the cable downwards in an extreme way. Obviously, it's a manufacturing defect, but considering the anatomy of the HDD (poorly designed) or the connectors, it's a problem that could happen to anyone.
The product installs immediately on my PC running Windows 7 Pro. It is a great product and I am very pleased with the quality of the product. It is very easy to use and the price is very reasonable. I've been using it for a while now and it's a great tool to carry my documents and photos around.
It is perfect because it is small and takes up less space when carried from work to home or when travelling.

Used as a backup drive, this 1 TB drive is the perfect tool. Connected via USB3, it is fast in both writing and reading. It is also compact, light and good looking. Excellent product delivered in a very short time, as always.

This hard drive is perfect. USB3 at the rendezvous, excellent to make backups of some devices in the professional environment. As usual, when you see 1TB or 1000GB you have to remove the famous 7% to get the "real size" which is a little more than 930GB useful.
There are some Seagate tools that are useless on the hard drive, I removed them (in fact reformatted the drive and it still works fine.
