Excellent, I put it on my watercooling and I have a quite important decrease of the temperature. But be careful, it is very noisy, you have to set the operating curve in the bios for an optimal balance. I don't give it a 10/10 but a 9/10 for the noise, but otherwise I recommend it without any worries.
I changed the 3 fans that were on my Corsair Hydro Series H150i PRO, I put 3 on the front, when set to the processor temperature, they run around 1500 - 2000 RPM and are still not too noisy (for me). The airflow is much more consistent than the fans that come with the case. The cables are strong.
This fan is an industrial fan!
It says "industrial" in the name of the product, in the industry efficiency is more important than comfort. This is exactly what this product does.
Noctua also states very clearly on their website: if you want quiet fans, go for the chroma range...

It is ultra efficient but also very noisy. It is made for what it was made for: an industrial application!
Up to 50% of the noise is largely tolerable during the day. Beyond that, use noise-cancelling headphones, good insulating headphones or stand away from your PC.
This fan is to be used on a High Amp port of the motherboard (approx. 3A) to be able to manage its speed correctly. You can find one on the Asus ROG motherboards.
I strongly advise you to calibrate the usage curve via the bios or via a software. Also, if you can, set a delay on the fan response time to avoid the yo-yo effects of temperature variations.

one of the two i ordered makes a continuous buzzing noise and one of the anti noise pads is missing when i open the box, bad surprise. I'm not going to send it back because of that, but it's a pity for the lack of rigour in the quality control of the product, 1 out of 2 that works, but makes noise and one of the anti-noise pads is missing from the bundle, which is already completely empty (no extension cord or anything else apart from 4 screws) ... I don't find that normal or acceptable at this price.
For cooling a tower that acts more like an oven than anything else, they are perfect.
Even at low speed, the airflow is superior to other brands of fans and is completely inaudible.
Be careful though, because after 50% you won't hear anything in your room (except these fans).
No surprise, it blows very, very loud, and that's what we expect from it,

Even in slow speed mode, you can hardly hear it and it blows loudly, while at high speed you can hear it enough, and it blows like a thunderbolt! a real little bomb.
Noise is not a problem for me
Very powerful fan, I replaced the two noctua on the noctua nh-d14n fan with two like this one, I gained 2-3 degrees and upgraded to the newer ones.
5 others have been installed in my cooler master Cosmos 2
So at normal or low rpm it's not very audible, but once pushed to 3000 rpm, a real hoover.
I have to admit that these fans are designed for cooling massive storage racks and other servers.
As I'm a hardware enthusiast, I spend a lot of money on my PCs, and I'm not afraid of making changes to them.

If you switch to these fans, you'll have to calculate your incoming and outgoing airflow, so you'll have to buy at least 2 (I remind you that the incoming and outgoing airflow must be identical for optimal cooling. We tend to forget this detail too quickly.
I ordered 2 fans like this one which I managed to fit to the radiator of the Noctua NH-D14.
The black look of the fans matches my setup much better than the classic brown/beige Noctua fans, which is a big plus for me.
But let's move on to the most interesting aspect ... the performance!
With an uncapped i7 6700K, on which I replaced the thermal paste between the IHS and the die by the Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut, the temperature under Prime95 is 55°C in 384K then 70°C in 8K. I specify that it is overclocked to 4,7GHz with a VCore of 1,42V.
An interesting point, the temperature does not necessarily drop when the fan speed is increased beyond a certain point. So it is worth buying a fan/radiator that can take advantage of such a large airflow.
For noise, it is no surprise that the fan is noisy at full speed. But once the fan curve is finely tuned in the BIOS, you can have a relatively quiet computer.
To sum up, an excellent product, but one that will certainly not be used by everyone, both for its use and for its price.

The quality of the fan is very simple, you just plug it on 12V and listen to it, and you immediately understood that it was not there for fun :p

It will probably need a fine tuning of the PWM to avoid that it goes up in the revs too quickly... while keeping the power if needed!

If you don't mind the noise, go for it!
For the moment I could only test a normal use (office, video) in normal time my computer is at 45.5° with the two Noctua I do not exceed 31° !!!! Incredible, really!
It's perfect, but when they say it makes noise, I can tell you that it does...
5 fans that I took with me to Brazil where I live. Installed on top of a Phanteks Enthoo Luxe case with a Corsair H115i; work great! Controlled fan speed; no excessive noise. Result: stability assured and finally overclocking possible on Intel I7-920, from 2,66 Ghz to 3,370 Ghz without problem.
Fan is quite noisy by default.
Only recommended for MBs with speed control.
These fans can go down to a very low % speed and then allow an interesting noise reduction.
Acquired for Watercooling Corsair H110i GTX to replace the original ones, one of which is very noisy (rolling noise).
