For a box requiring a low-profile wifi card that is nowhere to be found
works very well
4 stars only because on installation the message "impossible to find adapter" was displayed and it was impossible to use the wps tool
you have to enter the wifi code manually
I needed to capture the wifi of a box located on the floor above my bedroom. With its fairly long usb cable, I was able to search and find the best placement. Problem-free installation. Works well under Windows 11 Pro.
Good product that does the job. Works well on Windows 7 64bits. But I had disconnections on Windows 10 64bits. The driver update did not improve things. So I stay on Seven 64 pro which is sufficient for the use of this machine. Otherwise easy to use and nice design.
Easy to use, just install the driver, plug in and go
Good connection to my router despite 2 load bearing concrete walls
it's more efficient than my old PLC connection
Does the job as expected.
However, I have noticed regular blue screens since I installed the drivers for this card, as well as a driver problem that had to be deactivated and reactivated to get the connection working again.
I was expecting a bad connection but it's amazing it's as good as an ethernet cable. I'm on ADSL and I'm running at around 30 ping which I would never have imagined. However the installation is a bit difficult to understand.
I bought this product as a replacement for a Netgear N600 dongle which suffers from intermittent failure (thermal failure).
A comparison of the two WIFI adapters with the ACRYLIC WIFI Home software (free) shows that the TP-LINK TL-WN822N is clearly less sensitive than the Netgear product (10 dB difference between the two - i.e. the new product is THREE TIMES LESS SENSITIVE than the NetGear N600).
However, this seems quite normal, considering the price of the TP-LINK TL-WN822N.
It's a pity that the retailers don't do some tests (easy to do with the existing test software).
In short: you get what you pay for. I find the packaging misleading as it says "High Gain Wireless USB Adapter". Question: HIGH GAIN, it only has the name. I do not recommend this product if you hope to gain in sensitivity (if the reception conditions are a bit difficult)
I wanted to replace a USB Wifi dongle that had poor reception. I'm glad I did, because with this model I can get optimal reception of the Wifi network even through my thick stone walls.
The hardware is recognized without any problems under Xubuntu.
I'm very pleased with the quality of the product and the service.
I'm very happy with this product and I'm very pleased with the quality of the service.
As I couldn't keep my internal wifi card in my pc
I opted for this model and I am not really disappointed
Very fast delivery
Nothing to say about the packaging
Very good signal
I recommend this product!
Very fast delivery. I didn't expect it so quickly.
Packaging was perfect.
Very fast installation with a throughput as fast as wired.
The length of the cable means that the little green light doesn't bother me.
Excellent product and I recommend it.
As usual with LDLC...
Top service...
Fast delivery...
I have to say that I am very pleased with the product...
Just on a box where it "can't find it".
I'm sure it's a question of the Network Standard to be configured.
By default it is in n...
While the Box must emit in b or c ...
Nickel Chrome...

Good Wi-Fi key! It works perfectly, I have the same speed as when I am on cable. There is a small green light that flashes, it can be annoying but the cable is relatively long so you can move it away.
I was disappointed by the efficiency of the netgear micro wifi key, so I opted for this one for 6 euros more, and I'm satisfied! It does its job very well! The range is much better, and no loss of signal
I bought this to replace an identical model with a different brand "db-link" which only had one antenna and I thought I would get better reception with this model which has two. So a bit disappointed by the recurrent disconnections and the weak signal.
After having a lot of problems with the laptop card, I decided to switch to the external card.
Easy to install, for those who don't have a CD drive, the drivers are here:
http://www.tp-link.fr/download/TL-WN822N.html#Driver
The flashing LED is a bit annoying but the cable allows to keep it away.
This is a minimalist box, almost plug&play, economically made, it won't resist much to shocks but offers an impressive quality of Wifi internet connection. The quality/price ratio is therefore extremely fair and I recommend the use of this product to efficiently connect any fixed or portable machine to the internet at a lower cost! :)
Small box with a cheap plastic but quite pretty, it does the job well: recognized immediately under Windows 10 and directly usable - we had to use the driver CD under Windows 7, but it works well too.
This external network card allowed me to connect my new tower to the Internet from my room, which has no Ethernet cable and is far from the modem. With the TL-WN822N, all you have to do is plug it into a USB port, connect to the WIFI network and you're done. Perfect product.
Very good reception despite the presence of two one-metre thick walls and a floor.
Very stable yet light.
I recommend it for an installation far from the box.
Simple and efficient recognition and installation.
I was already with a TP-LINK before and I was satisfied with it but this little box has exceeded all my expectations, I get double what I was getting before even though I am at a certain distance from my box, so I recommend it!
I recently purchased this TP-LINK because having a computer far from the box, the wifi was just unbearable!
Since I plugged this little thing in, everything is going great and I can finally watch videos without loading time and upload photos easily!
I feel like I'm on RJ45 when I'm on WIFI ^^. The look is nice and doesn't stand out too much (I tested it on different desktops and it goes just about everywhere).
The only small hitch is a slight increase in ping in game (+5 on average) otherwise nothing to say.
I use 3 of them on Linux Mint workstations, it works very well. Nothing to install, the module integrated in the Linux kernel recognizes it perfectly. The transmissions seem to be fine, I have not yet tested the speed or the stability.
