2nd identical bracelet already purchased. The 1st lasted a few years. It's the cable sheath that has deteriorated over time. I'll have to look at this one later, otherwise it does the job well.

Nothing extraordinary or abnormal for this bracelet: it does not tighten too much to be uncomfortable, and it does its function of conductor (if put correctly of course).
But. like others before me, I found the cable 20 to 30cm too short: several times, I had to readjust the position when I had to reach further on the carpet and case, so -2 points (8/10).
The bracelet does its job. For this price we wouldn't have spit on a slightly longer thread, but hey.
9/10
A useless product and therefore *indispensable*.
Beware of statically charged clothes ;)
Ideal for handling RAM or graphics cards and the like.
Does not cut off the blood flow.
The cord is too short, however.
Having burned out a graphics card in the past with a simple chestnut, I was not hesitant to buy this product especially when the cost of the components is high.
You will tell me that some components are well made and therefore safe at this level but not all...
Many take the risk but for the price to avoid a disaster or a return I suggest this purchase.
Used to mount a refresh of my configuration (new CPU + GPU).
Nice bracelet (elastic textile with a locking system).
Small alligator clip to mount on a grounded socket.
Low price compared to the electronic components.
One small "criticism" is that the headband could easily be a few centimetres longer.
After a while of use, the hand turns white.
For the antistatic side, how to know ???
I hope that it is effective because I put my new PC together using it.
It's not very annoying when in use.
I'm not sure if it's necessary or not... Everyone will have their own opinion... Personally, for the low price I say yes... When I see the cost of my motherboard and my graphics card plus the rest, it's really ridiculous for a minimum of protection... Product as described.
I've been using it for a while now, but it's not too bad. I've been using it for a while now, but it's not too bad, and it's not too bad.
The product to have in your toolbox if you want to avoid burning your components at 1 000 € because of a small discharge!
For the price, the product is of very good quality, robust, the cord has a fairly satisfactory length, the bracelet fits well on the wrist and everything is removable (crocodile clip / cord / bracelet).
I fully recommend this item.
Dubious, I put it on as a matter of principle but with latex gloves on.
It's just the right length, you can't move much. It fits well on the wrist though.
I'll have to explain to you how an alligator clip can be attached to an earth socket too
It's difficult to say if it works in any case each time I use it I don't have any problems I want to underline to the beginners that the fact of saying that we can burn a component with static electricity is totally true I suffered the consequences ... the only downside of the product that is not really a is not being able to choose the colour (I had a blue)
(I take this opportunity to say and repeat like many other internets that the minimum of 200 characters is totally useless and you didn't understand it I say that to reach them)
Buy to handle components. Works. Completely discharges the body of all static electricity. After all, a 200-character review may be too much for a product of this type.
LDLC service is top notch.
Not much of a negative, especially for an accessory that is almost mandatory if you are not careful when handling static-sensitive products.
The cord is a little short.
Thanks to LDLC for the variety of its products
It's hard to give an opinion on an antistatic bracelet haha!
I'm not sure I've shot my components so I guess the bracelet is doing its job.
As soon as one starts handling important (and especially expensive) parts such as CG or CM, it is important to avoid static discharges.
7€ is the price of a certain serenity during the assemblies. The article is well made and does not interfere with the movements during use.
Gadget or not? I don't know, but for the low price I'd rather take it than risk burning out my LDLC RealIT computer by manipulating certain parts (DIYers only :p ).
I can't say if I had any problems without the bracelet but this is the best solution against static electricity without paying too much. Just plug it into a metal part of the case and .........
Some will say it's a gadget, but I say that when you're handling products costing 300€ or more, you should protect yourself at least a little. Be careful not to make any sudden movements, the cable will come off in that case.
