POE
The DGS-1010MP includes eight 10/100/1000BASE-T ports supporting IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet (PoE+). Each PoE+ port can supply up to 30 W, with a total budget of 125 W, enabling up to four IEEE 802.3at-compliant devices to be powered without an additional power source. This makes it possible to install devices in locations where there is no electrical outlet, reducing the cost and installation time of new equipment.
The DGS-1010MP has nine RJ-45 10/100/1000BASE-T ports andone SFP port. SFP transceivers offer a range of transmit and receive specifications, allowing users to select the most suitable network interfaces and transceivers to suit their needs.
Superior performance
The DGS-1010MP is a plug-and-play device, ensuring quick and easy installation without the need for additional configuration. Auto MDI/MDI-X support on all ports eliminates the need for crossover cables when connecting to other switches. Auto negotiation on each port detects the connection speed of a network device (10, 100 or 1000 Mbps) and intelligently adjusts for optimum compatibility and performance. Thanks to IEEE 802.3x flow control, the DGS-1010MP improves network performance while minimising data packet loss.
In addition, the DGS-1010MP features a Gigabit Ethernet port and an SFP uplink port for high-speed connections to remote storage or long-distance fibre connections. Combining the convenience of PoE with superior performance and ease of use, the DGS-1010MP is the ideal choice for extending your network flexibly and cost-effectively.
D-Link Green technology
The DGS-1010MP complies with the IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE), reducing the switch's power consumption when network activity is low and minimising operating costs during periods of inactivity. With EEE-enabled devices connected to the DGS-1010MP, organisations can significantly reduce power consumption, as the switch automatically puts ports into sleep mode when they are not in use.
