Convert an analogue signal into a digital signal
This Marmitek Connect AD12 audio converter (ADC ) lets you convert an analogue stereo signal into a digital audio signal (Toslink or coaxial). If you want to hear the sound of a turntable or CD player through your speakers, connect the audio output of your turntable to the audio input of your amplifier. The audio output of your turntable only has an analogue output (red-white/left-right), while your playback device (amplifier, soundbar, active speakers) may only have a digital input (Toslink/coaxial). Please note: a vinyl turntable must have an integrated phono preamplifier (RIAA). Use the Connect AD12 when your audio amplifier has few or no digital audio inputs.
