Simple to use, the Alpine Navi Stick connects seamlessly to compatible Alpine car radios for instant access to state-of-the-art navigation with live traffic information. Simply plug the stick into the USB port of your compatible Alpine car radio to use the latest iGo Primo nextgen navigation with HERE map database for the whole of Europe. In addition, connect your Alpine Navi Stick to an internet access point or your phone for live traffic information. You'll get simple, full-colour indications of the traffic around you, making it easy to avoid congested roads.
Finally, the Alpine Navi Stick is particularly recommended for motorhome and van drivers using the Alpine Halo11 or Halo9, as it also includes the complete park4night campsite database. So you can easily search by destination, user rating or category and see the services available and even images of the campsite. You can even choose between 3 different motorhome profiles (S / M / L) or create your own profile by manually entering the length, height, width and weight of the vehicle. Alpine Navi Stick will take your vehicle's measurements and weight into account and will only suggest routes that are suitable for your vehicle.
Live Traffic enhances your navigation by providing you with real-time traffic information, which is continuously updated in the background using Internet data (connection to a mobile hotspot or smartphone required). The system displays any incidents, roadworks or traffic jams that will affect your journey, and updates your route to help you avoid congestion. Streets are coloured on the navigation map according to the current traffic situation. Live Traffic is free for the first 3 years you use your Alpine Navi Stick. The subscription can then be renewed on naviextras.com for a small annual fee.
The Navi Stick uses the latest iGo Primo Nextgen navigation software. It is very easy to use and offers many powerful navigation features and advanced destination search functions. The latest version also includes an extended display of traffic signs and live traffic information.
Once you've connected the Alpine Navi Stick to a compatible Alpine head unit, a navigation application icon appears on the HOME screen. If you go to the sound settings screen, you'll have additional buttons to adjust the volumes of voice guidance and background music, for the perfect navigation mix.
The Alpine Navi Stick comes pre-installed with park4night. The vast database features more than 120,000 campsites across Europe and works entirely offline, wherever you are. You can search directly on your Alpine screen for your next campsite by category, country or region - along your route or at your final destination. Icons give you detailed information about each campsite's opening hours and available services (such as WiFi, laundry or sewage disposal) and you can see distance, user ratings, comments and even images to choose the campsite that suits your needs.

Bought this to use with the Alpine Halo 9 in our motorhome.
Very impressed with the mapping & navigation. Pretty easy to set up and use, but not tried all the menu options yet.
Cannot be used with Apple CarPlay but can still use the iPhone as an iPod so not a massive problem.
The NaviStick was so much cheaper from LDLC than any other outlet I found, even after paying the shipping & import tax to the UK.
