Very good hardware, but the software ruins everything
I have quite a few things to say about this computer. I'm really torn between being pleasantly surprised and being annoyed/frustrated.
Firstly, I'd like to say that neither LDLC nor ASUS were able to give me the real reference number for this computer. It's impossible to get its real specification sheet because in reality the reference "N6602ZC-N1070W" doesn't exist, and is only listed on LDLC's partner sites (at least, according to my research). But be careful! I'm not pointing this out as a lack of professionalism on the part of LDLC, the customer service team was very honest with me and made it clear that ASUS hadn't provided them with a sufficiently complete technical file on the computer.
ASUS, on the other hand, was a real obstacle course. It took their customer service almost 30 minutes to understand what I wanted, and to find the computer. And even then, they didn't actually find it, the sc simply gave me another similar reference. The REAL reference for this computer, which can't even be found on its chassis because it's apparently shared with all the other models in the same range, is K6602ZC.
But that's not the end of it, as I had other surprises after receiving the computer. :)
As soon as you switch it on for the first time, you're pestered by a whole load of adverts. Ctd that, in addition to the usual Microsoft ads (Office, Ondedrive and its 'recommended' apps), you're being lured by ASUS. Do you want to sign up to asus.com to receive cool software? No ? Well, my dear friend, that's okay because we'll install them for you anyway. :) You want McAfee? :))
And good luck reinstalling Windows, most drivers are installed by hand via their site...
Apart from that, the computer is good. It performs well, is really well ventilated, the screen is not bad, the keyboard is very nice, I recommend it for its hardware. I remain satisfied with this purchase.
