I'm not sure if it's a good idea to have a new one, but it's a good idea to have a new one, too. I only regret that the ventilation is noisy: it's not the fans (well made) which are low decibels even at maximum but the compression of the airflow in the case (the outlet is too small, in comparison the power supply is bigger, and then some manufacturers use honeycomb grilles...), but I wanted a small volume (why are laptops so quiet?).
