High-quality mechanical keyboard in an atypical yellow, perfect for a Breaking Bad-themed mod.
Good keyboard. Reinforced keys, less cheap than on my corsair k65.
Not convinced by the blue Switch.
I think the same one in cherry red is perfect.
Would recommend
A very good finish, an incredible noise I'm very happy with this purchase! Go for it with your eyes closed
I find this keyboard a pleasure to use. The yellow colour makes it more discreet than a black keyboard on my desk. I'm really pleased with my purchase.
I got it on special offer and considering the price, it's hard to find anything to complain about with this keyboard!
A good choice for a first step into the world of mechanical keyboards?
Buy at £35 during the sales, the keyboard is just incredible. Best deal I ever made
The keyboard is of excellent construction. It's very solid, which inspires robustness and also helps to absorb vibrations when typing, further enhancing the silent feel of the Cherry MX silent switches. All in all, an excellent range of keyboards that I'd recommend... except for this particular model. Let me explain.
Yes, the yellow isn't necessarily in the best taste, but I could get used to it. The problem is that the letters are in white (on yellow), and the result lacks the contrast I need to make out the letters properly in less than optimal lighting conditions. This phenomenon is exacerbated by the fact that the letters are not transparent and don't let the keyboard's backlighting pass through. This is a real problem for me, as I'm often geekering in the dark.
But since I got a great deal on the keyboard, I thought I'd treat myself to a set of keycaps. And that's where the second problem arises. This is a 65% format keyboard. The 'alt', 'fn' and 'shift' keys on the right have a very particular format and it's mission impossible to find ISO, French azerty and backlit keycaps that include them. So far I've found one vendor who does, but for over £100, which is almost the price of a new keyboard.
In short, very good stuff, but buy it directly with the keys that suit you, or switch to ANSI Qwerty US format. I'm seriously going to go for this option in the future, as it's still the most common format for keycaps.
Keyboard received a day early, perfectly packaged, keyboard in very good condition and silent.
Positive point:
Very pleasant feel
Very quiet keyboard
Very responsive thanks to the cherry mx Quick Silver switch
Perfectly suited to both casual and pro gamers
Wide range of customisation and optimisation options thanks to the pcb hotswap, which lets you change the keyboard switches
Negative point:
The Keycaps (keys above the switches) prevent the keyboard's RGB from lighting up properly (photo in proof)
The RGB is not fully customisable, but I don't think that's the point of this one.
To sum up, this keyboard is very good for gamers looking for gaming performance.
Ducky Channel One 3 SF Yellow" keyboard bought during a promotion, returning for €45.93
Plus points
- Very powerful backlighting and bright colour
- Can be customised with extra keycaps
- Premium packaging
- Switch MX Speed Silver not too quiet or too noisy
- Thin plastic dust cover included
- 1-year Ducky supplier warranty
Point -
- Keycaps that let RGB through, as you can see in the photos
- Colour of letters on keycaps white, not practical in the dark
Score : 4.5 / 5
*The cable used is not the one included with the keyboard.
Very good product overall, well made, nice plastics.
No third-party software and RGB management with shortcuts. You either like it or you don't, but it avoids the proliferation of software on the PC ...
Pleasant sound and very responsive Switch MX Speed Silver.
I'd recommend
