Refined and elegant, theChorus 716 floorstanding speaker fromFocal exploits the 2.5-way formula in a high-end Hi-Fi configuration: the two 16.5 cm woofers work in tandem in the bass(only the top one diffuses the midrange), for a double bass impact perfect for rooms up to 30 m2. The sound comes into its own in your listening room, with a dynamic midrange, double the bass level and high power handling. A front port is placed at the bottom of the speaker to reduce distortion and ensure a beautiful bass reproduction.
Exceptional build
As with every Chorus 700 speaker, theChorus 716 has a simplified and updated design for better integration while maintaining its acoustic properties of neutrality and low vibration.The design of the dust cover has also been reworked for better integration in modern interiors.
Ultra-rigid MDF construction(25 mm thick), non-parallel walls, OPC filtering, drivers made in France: the manufacture and finish of this Focal Chorus 716 allow to obtain an exceptional musicality. The new suspension of the tweeter softens slightly the whole, which becomes smoother and more pleasant. The two 165mm driver configuration generates a significant level of bass, thanks to a tandem operation: the upper driver delivers the midrange and bass, while the lower one focuses on the bass.
