It's been over a week since I bought this card from LDLC. I use it mainly for games (Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA 5, World of Warcraft and soon New World...). The RX 6600 XT is largely capable of running these games, even with the settings in high - ultra, you can feel that it still has some under the bonnet. I'd like to point out that I limit my FPS to 60, as my screen is a 60 hz. I recommend it to all gamers who like smoothness while activating a maximum of details in game.
Positive points:
- The design is superb (silver grey backplate, addressable LEDs that look good in a case with a tempered glass front...)
- Very efficient and quiet cooling system (the fans start at 60 degrees and I can't hear the difference, even without headphones), average temperature 45 degrees in desktop mode, 70 degrees in game.
- Low power consumption and a very good power consumption ratio
Negative points:
- Price/performance ratio: 550 euros for a card designed for 1080p... despite the shortage of semiconductors, I think that there is abuse on the part of the manufacturers or the retailers (or both)
- For the moment incompatible with RGB fusion (for Gigabyte motherboards) but it must be said that RGB fusion 2.0 has been problematic for years for many people.
-RTX mode apparently not as good as on Nvidia cards
