The D-Link DCS-4718E PoE IP camera features an 8 megapixel lens and sophisticated image enhancement features in a compact, outdoor-ready package. Video resolutions of up to 3840 x 2160 pixels provide incredibly detailed video, while noise reduction, WDR and superior low-light performance dramatically improve image quality, even in difficult lighting conditions.
The Vigilance range offers a complete high definition professional video surveillance solution that is easy to install and very cost effective. The range consists of cameras specifically designed to meet different surveillance and environmental requirements.

Bandwidth and storage optimisation
To maximise bandwidth efficiency and improve image quality, the DCS-4718E performs real-time video compression using H.265, H.264 and MJPEG codecs. In addition, it supports three separate profiles for simultaneous video streaming and recording.
Built-in 802.3af compliant PoE support that simplifies installation by providing power and network connectivity over a single standard network cable.
