Endless OS or Windows 10
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to buy a new computer, but I'm sure it's a good idea to buy a new one. The staff is always friendly and very professional (the usuals know) ;)Concerning the machine, package nickel, unpacking without surprise.the computer is thin, little heavy but it runs under EndlessOS. The computer is thin, not very heavy, but it runs under EndlessOS. As I need to install Windows, it is important to download the ISO file from partition 4 of the SSD before doing anything. You are free to make a full backup in order to restore everything if necessary. I've deleted all the partitions and created 4 (EFI System, MS Reserved, Win Recovery and then the NTFS partition of Win10) Installing Windows 10 (x64): Perfect and without surprise! You will have to play with the keyboard (TAB and Space keys) because the touchpad is not natively recognized or plug a mouse on the USB port (much more practical)Then, if you are a beginner or do not want to take you the head, use the wizard of installation ASUS located at the root of the ISO (rather slow and requiring to restart after almost each new installation but at least the tool deserves to exist)Then, no RJ45 for a wired internet connection. If like me you are reluctant to WIFI I recommend a small USB-c to Ethernet tool. It costs less than 20? (from the online retailer that I won't name but who is known to mistreat its employees). You can also order it on LDLC https://www.ldlc.com/fiche/PB00270800.htmlC.)
