Digital sensor

It is a good product. The negative side of it is the digital sensor which is very sensitive and even badly placed.
... Compared to my old CAT B15, still working, but obsolete (no way to do much today under android 4.1 except phone).
As for the Archos, I haven't tried to drill into it, drive over it with my car, forget it at the bottom of the bathtub or hit it with a hammer as you can see in the ads for this kind of smartphone. I just hope it will survive a fall on the floor and that it won't bend in the pocket of a pair of jeans that are too tight, but, given the "cinder block" feel of the device, it should be fine.
On the usability and ergonomics level, it's fluid, responsive, and you can feel that the octo-core is really working; data, wifi, and bluetooth are all activated with a battery that lasts easily five days, which is quite a change compared to the B15's battery, which was seriously starting to decline... The only downside, as mentioned in other reviews, is that notifications on some apps are a bit temperamental, but nothing that I would find objectionable.
I'll have to wait and see in the long term, but at this stage, it's almost faultless; I'm very satisfied!
Following my two previous reviews, I'm posting this one to strongly advise against buying this thing... also hoping that LDLC won't be fooled in the future (if you're really interested in it, buy the Oukitel WP10, it's the same one rebadged and 200€ cheaper)
My last concern is aquatic, I took a picture underwater at 15 cm depth, for a few seconds. I've been using it for a while now and it's not working properly, even after a day of drying it's not working at all.
The Archos after-sales service doesn't even have a working phone line, I had to go through facebook and instagram to get answers...
A friend bought a Ulefone Power Armor 13, I'm going to turn to that.
Everything I said in my first review is true, it is a good, solid machine and the autonomy goes from 2 to 4 days.
However, there is one persistent problem that I can't solve!
No notifications work, calendar, Messenger bubbles, mailbox, Duo push, games, music; nothing, niet!
To access the notifications, I have to open the app... which loses all its meaning.
Even with all the possible permissions for notifications, even with a cache cleaning or restarts, it doesn't work...
The widgets are also disturbed (foobar 2000 music and "post-it" of the notes app)
In short, system updates don't do anything, app updates even less and apparently nobody finds what's wrong and it's also valid for other models of less common brands... there's segregation!
The phone is fine, it is very powerful (2 times faster than a Crosscall core X4 and less satur than the BV9500), I hope it will last longer than my Blackview BV9500 pro and BV9500 plus which had problems with low-end electronics (both, The screen is well calibrated and the autonomy goes from 2 to 4 days (3 to 5 days for the Blackview, 1 day for the core X4). For me the size and weight of the device is not a problem. The photo quality is very good, the best I've had on a hardened smartphone. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to buy a new one, but I'm sure it's a good idea to buy a new one, and I'm sure it's a good idea to buy a new one, and I'm sure it's a good idea to buy a new one, and I'm sure it's a good idea to buy a new one.I'm not sure if it's a good idea to buy a new phone, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to buy a new phone, so I'm not sure if it's a good idea to buy a new phone. No jack plug (adapter supplied). Compatibility issues, play-store says netflix and Disney incompatible... I have to install them as .apk from the browser to get them to work. The tl is not root but it must have Archos specific features... I hope that the necessary will be done to make this machine compatible with everything, the gal of a standard smartphone.I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not, but I'm sure it will be... I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not, but I'm not sure if it is a good idea.
