    Davis EVA 2022

Feedback after several weeks of using the EVA 2022 model.
I installed these four EVAs suspended from the ceiling for an Auro-3D home cinema in an open-plan living room of 40m2.
After removing the tabletop feet which are very easy to remove (the screws are under the 4 foam pads and the feet can be reinstalled if needed - thanks to the manufacturer for this attention), I have an aesthetic result in height with their rounded shape at the corners and very compact. I get a good immersion in Auro 9.1 (the bottom 5.1 is in Infinity Kappa/SVS on an SR8015).

A few remarks compared to the information available on the web:
1/ The finish does not look like oak (stated on the box) or ash (stated on the website) and is vinyl,
2/ The EVA's don't go to the advertised specifications at the bottom (55Hz), 70 to 80 Hz seems more realistic. It is not a Kevlar speaker but a fiberglass one.
3/ The sound is balanced and powerful enough for a stereo installation in a small room but a sub will be necessary in the budget not to be outdone.

To conclude, these are very decent bookshelf speakers and at this price level, you can't complain about anything.

    Have fun! :-)

    For the exceptional template

These very small speakers from Davis Acoustics are simply exceptional. This French "sound manufacturer", now well known in the small world of Hifi, has managed to put a nice concentrate of their know-how in these small EVAs. The smallest parts and budgets can also make their entry into the Audiophile world thanks to the involvement of Davis Acoustics.
Of course, there are many better products for larger rooms (notably from Davis), but for small rooms, look no further. As for the quality-price ratio, it leaves one dreaming and defies all competition.
