The microphone is easy to install and the base seems to fit well at the moment. Comes with 2 bases, so can be used on 2 different headsets. The notch on the base makes it easy to raise the mic and the mute button near the mic is handy.
The quality of the microphone is top, the sound is clear.
I bought this microphone because I wanted to keep my ATH-M50 for multiplayer. The microphone reproduces the voice faithfully, intelligibly and balanced, much better than other headsets I've tried (see sound tests on Youtube). The isolation is quite effective, very little ambient noise is picked up and when I am playing with a team member next to me, their voice is picked up much less than mine and does not trigger the transmission. The microphone is removable and comes with two glue bases, so it can be used on two headsets if desired. The cable is of a decent length and does not pick up much interference. The output level is quite correct, at least on my external sound card.Cons: The stem is a bit hard and bends strangely, so it's a bit difficult to adjust, but doesn't move once it's adjusted properly. The stem is really too short in my opinion. The microphone still picks up a bit too much from my mechanical keyboard, even though it's better than the other solutions I tested.
