Compact and elegant design
The ProArt D940MX features a compact chassis with a capacity of only 8 litres. It takes up minimal space on your desk to give you the ability to add all your peripherals without overloading your work environment. The ProArt Station D940MX is designed for the bold and demanding user. ASUS engineers have selected various quality materials and designed a sloping chassis so that the ProArt Station D940MX not only looks good, but also functions by providing efficient cooling as well as front I/O ports.
Power for professionals
To fit high-performance components into its compact 8-litre chassis, the ProArt Station D940MX features a dual side-mounted motherboard to accommodate its powerful processor, memory and graphics card. The detachable side panels make it easy to replace components. Simply unscrew the panel and remove it, giving you direct access to the memory modules, M.2 storage and 2.5" storage bay.
Stable performance with hybrid cooling
The ProArt Station D940MX uses a multi-zone hybrid cooling system to ensure that its cooling performance remains optimal even though its chassis is ultra-compact. This system expels heat generated by the processor and graphics card to various locations to prevent dangerous temperature increases in the chassis. It features a vapour chamber and heat pipes that effectively dissipate heat to reduce temperatures, even at full load. Four fans are positioned in the chassis to dissipate heat quickly. This improves airflow for more stable data performance without thermal slowdown.
Thunderbolt 3 connectivity on the front
As a content creator, you regularly need to transfer large files and connect multiple devices simultaneously. The ProArt Station D940MX features comprehensive connectivity including Thunderbolt 3 for ultra-fast data transfers of up to 40 Gb/s, allowing you to download a full-length 4K movie in less than 30 seconds. In addition, the I/O ports have been subjected to 5,000 plug/unplug cycles to ensure durability.
Smart LED indicator
The LED at the bottom of the chassis informs you of the current status of the PC. It emits a blue light when the system is rendering graphics or running at full load. Once its heavy loads are over, the LED light turns white: so you know at a glance where you stand.
