It replaced a GTX 560 that had reached the end of its capacity, and I have been using it for over a year now. No compatibility problems with my old PC and its PCI Express 2.0 16x slot. It is relatively quiet. It's a pleasure to rediscover my games with the settings at maximum. I haven't tested it with recent games.
I bought this card for a photo processing and occasional gaming setup on an Asus TUF Gaming Plus II MB with an AMD Ryzen 5 3600.
No problems from ordering to installation, LDLC shipping was fast and accurate.
First boot, no worries, the card is silent. After downloading the latest drivers, I test Photoshop (not really an effort for a GPU but it's the main use of the computer), then recent video games, on a 2K screen: no problem, everything is fluid, the card heats little and remains silent (I was attached to the dual fan for better cooling and less noise).
A very good budget-performance compromise for a 1000/1100€ configuration, don't expect anything exceptional from it, it's not comparable to the latest RTX 30XX, but in its range/price, it's among the best. Glad I could get it even in these difficult times of supply difficulties...
Gpu with an unbeatable quality/price/quietness ratio.
First of all, it is inaudible at rest, even if the fans do not stop completely. Under load it is audible, but nothing abnormal.
Temperature: 55-60° under load after a few hours of play, so just excellent.
Power consumption is under control, no worries with a 400w power supply
Quite small when you take into account its performance, it fits without any problem in a 22 litres HP case.
As far as performance is concerned, I run all my games in 1080p at 100 fps mini in ultra: gta 5, fortnite, batman... that's what I asked for.

I've been using it for a while now and I'm very pleased with the quality of the product.
Not knowing much about computers, I chose this model following the advice of the seller, based on a Gigabyte X79 UP4 motherboard, which is about 5 years old. I compared several equivalent models and I oriented myself towards a model with a good quality-price ratio, taking into account the noise of the ventilation, again with the advice of a seller. With various network aids, my photos, and the advice given to me by the seller, I replaced the old Nvidia quadro P600 1GB card with this 4GB card. I updated the driver to the default options and installation "Studio Driver", rather than "Game Ready Driver" as my use is image processing.
Findings and action without understanding:
- Significantly faster display of an image and correct fan noise.
-Graphics processor usage, often close to 4GB when Lightroom and Photoshop are open at the same time, which makes me wonder if a GeForce 1660 card with 6GB would have made a difference, given my configuration.
- A bit more blue screen crashes with different messages that I don't understand and that may have nothing to do with this new installation but that could be coming from peripherals. I simply asked Lightroom in the preferences to automate the use of the graphics processor rather than impose it. No blue screen since...
- Overall satisfied, but frustrated to find myself a bit alone and not understanding computers whose hardware tutorials are either for specialists or for people discovering a computer for the first time.
One of the best graphics cards to start gaming at a low price. I was wondering if it was worth it, I tell you it is well worth the price. No hesitation in recommending it to you
