The Enermax Liqmax 3 RGB 240 all-in-one liquid cooler offers an extremely efficient way to keep your CPU cool with its patented dual-chamber design and dual 120mm convex blade fans. You'll also appreciate the Central Coolant Inject (CCI) technology that injects coolant into the hottest part of the CPU to maximize heat dissipation, and the rugged polyamide rubber tubing that's waterproof to the max for long life. An RGB system completes the package with LEDs on the waterblock and fans. This allows you to create the lighting effects of your choice for a unique gaming atmosphere!
Careful design
Every aspect of the Liqmax 3 RGB 240 has been engineered for solid performance and durability. First of all, the patented 2-chamber structure helps isolate the pump from the heated coolant and extends its life. The tubes are made of soft polyamide rubber and are completely waterproof, which means that no maintenance is required.
The cooling technology has also been optimised in two stages: firstly, the CCI systemsends the coolant to the hottest point of the processor via a central inlet, and secondly, the patented SCT (Stunt-Channel Technology) offers a drastically shortened coolant flow circuit to achieve faster heat transfer.
Put some light in your housing!
Enermax has equipped this edition of its Liqmax 3 with an RGB backlighting system on the fans and the waterblock. Enjoy a customizable light show with 16.8 mllions of colours for an intense gaming pleasure. It is also possible to control the lighting via ASRock, ASUS, Gigabyte and MSI "RGB Ready" motherboards. Without a compatible card, the whole thing will be lit in white.
Until now no problems, then after a year and a few days, pump noises then no more exchange and CPU at 100°C.
Back to SAV which announces 2 to 4 weeks of treatment ...
So I have mixed feelings about the longevity of the equipment

Moderately quiet, and not enough for MAO
Cooling, no problem, does the job, rgb, allsa .
But as far as noise is concerned, it's not so good. The fans in low load are silent, inaudible, but the pump not. And it is not adjustable.
Measured with a phone app (so average precision), on the side of a fractal design define 7 (silent case), we are about 37 / 40 dB, so quite audible and very far from the 27 dB max announced.
This means that there is always a buzz in the background.
The only time you won't hear the pump is when the fans are on full blast :D
If you thought like me that all-in-one watercooling = silence, you were wrong.

Effective IOA
AIO kit that works well and allows a light OC of the processor without worry. In pwm the pump is not too noisy (at the bottom can be heard). Attention: to use the RGB lighting you need an RGB ready motherboard, otherwise you won't be able to use it (one star less).

Excellent cooling
Very efficient, my Ryzen 5 2600 does not exceed 57°C, 23°C in idle. I'm very happy with it!
On the other hand, it is not compatible with the Cooler MasterBox E500L case + MSI X470 GAMING PLUS motherboard. The fan on the right side of the case rests on the RAM and doesn't rotate, I had to saw the plastic cage of the fan and trim its blades to be able to install it. Similarly, the processor is placed in front of a screw on the left fan, which cannot be fitted (this is of no consequence). It's a shame that a tower and a cooling system from the same brand don't go together!
In short, it cools well but you have to tinker a bit in this particular configuration, hence the star.
