If you don't use it often enough, the ink dries in the printheads and is impossible to make up for...
Very bad printer. Never works when you need it to. It takes 20 minutes to initialise. The cartridges cost a fortune and there are always some that don't want to be detected. The cartridges you put in are equipped with a chip counter which makes them impossible to empty completely or to refill.
Supported directly by unix Ubuntu 20.04
To replace a 5 year old HP 6800 (print head problem !!!! )
The printer works well.
It's a pity that the HP Smart program is so slow to wake up and that you can only use HP cartridges with locking chips.
I've been using it for a while now and it's been great....
The multifunction printer prints, scans and photocopies. The print quality is not as sharp as the office laser printer, but it's good enough for the price. On the other hand, the HP software sucks. On the PC, HP smart has a dark and modern look but it's a pain in the ass, and you can't help but admire the waiting screen. Impossible to scan with it, there is always an error message. Fortunately you can print and scan from MS Windows without using HP smart. This scan tool looks like a Windows 3.11 application but it allows you to scan without any problem while the HP smart window next to it indicates an error. On the phone, the "HP print service" application offers a print service for Android, it works. I haven't tried it from a Linux machine yet.
