An antibacterial keyboard for the medical field
With its compact size, the Accuratus AccuMed 540 V2 keyboard fits easily into the tight workspaces often found in hospitals, for example. Its silicone shell is fully sealed (IP67 standard) to ensure that no bacteria can get inside, and is waterproof, making it very easy to wash (an on/off switch is available to prevent the keyboard from sending signals to the computer while it is being washed). If necessary, an adjustable cleaning timer (30 mins, 1,2 or 4 hrs) can be used to remind the user to decontaminate the keyboard.
In addition, it has an enhanced anti-bacterial coating with NANOARMOUR-2 technology, which consists of silver nano particles that prevent bacteria from reproducing and then neutralize them. The AccuMed 540 V2 has also been validated for antimicrobial certification by JIS Z 2801:2001 for added safety. Designed for use in these harsh conditions, this keyboard can operate in a temperature range of -20 to +50 degrees.
