Great picture quality and even 3D, easy to use, excellent connectivity. Top, I recommend.
I am really pleased with this projector!
It's the first time I ordered a device from this range and I'm not disappointed. The image, with few settings out of the box, is superb especially in 4K HDR!
I had a SANYO Z1: what progress has been made since!
I'm not in a dedicated room but in my living room at a distance of 6 m for a base of 3 meters approximately. What a treat!
If you can, I advise you to buy this camera without any restrictions.
Brightness, contrast, HDR, 4K (even if emulated) in short, what a treat!
I'm really pleased.
After a few weeks of use, the first verdict:
- It is a beautiful beast! Relatively imposing dimensions, heavy, black... Impossible to go unnoticed in a living room. The installation on the ceiling is complicated, you need two people and with this weight, it is difficult to handle. I also installed a hook on the ceiling, connected to the "kensington lock" port to be sure not to take it on the head if the support drops!
- The picture quality is impressive, the colours are vibrant, the brightness is great even in daylight (in a very bright living room, you still have to close 2 or 3 shutters, but nothing like my old Sanyo). Maybe a bit too bright in a dark environment, it's aggressive for the eyes especially when an explosion happens after a dark scene! I don't despair of finding the right setting, especially as you can also play with the brightness curve, to lower only certain segments of the curve
- A lot of settings for the image, I don't master everything yet. On the other hand the function to make the movement more fluid is very artificial, with some artifacts in the image sometimes
- relatively quiet in eco mode, even in normal mode. The "high" mode is too noisy, but fortunately not essential at all I think: even in eco mode, it's bright enough
- I had to replace my old HDMI amp through which the signal passes, the projector didn't display anything, but when I plugged it in direct, everything worked. I have a second newer amp, no problem. The projector's power on triggers the amp's power on, and the amp's volume can be adjusted with the projector's remote control.
This projector has all the qualities I'm looking for.
It is bright enough, has a good resolution, has the right connections (even if they are not very numerous), a motorised shutter and lens.
The settings allow you to choose between a rather soft image and a high level of sharpness: in the end, it's easy to find what you want.
Not very noisy, I just find it bulky and rather heavy.
