Simple and reliable RGB kit
I bought this kit in addition to another 16GB kit with the same characteristics ordered in 2020. The aim was to have 32GB for less than 300€ in total and it's accomplished.
The kit is sober and classy with this brushed look on the sides. The LEDs work very well but are complex to program. Since I discovered the Armory Crate software I have no problem making all kinds of ripples and lighting patterns but it does require additional software on top of the already greedy corsair ICUE.
With DOCP mode enabled (XMP at Intel) in the bios the RAMs actually run at the desired speed of 3600MHz. The rather average latency (CL19) is not really noticeable even if a CL14 kit should be more efficient but for much more expensive:
(price on LDLC on 05/05/22)
CL14 277.94€ (PRICE ON LDLC 05/05/22)
CL16 €169.94
CL18 141.95€ (PRICE ON LDLC ON 05/05/22)
CL19 139.94€
For those who play Star Citizen with 16GB of RAM, 32GB is 20-30% more performance. For the price it's really good
I'm taking off half a star for the lack of lighting compatibility with ICUE but it's really anecdotal.
I recommend it for those who want an efficient ram with a good quality/price/style ratio
