My old printer gave up after 15 years of good and loyal service.
This one is better in every way for less money.
Faster, easy to set up, silent, you can print directly from an iPhone or Android phone.
You can scan in batches via wifi (but you need a software to install on your pc)
Attention, the cartridges delivered with have a very weak autonomy (
The good points? You can network it, and that's it. I've never seen a product as bad as this, it's criminal to be as bad as this.
The Windows drivers are crap, the Linux support leaves a lot to be desired.
If you're going to use this printer as a USB printer, don't bother, it's hell. Basically: the printer prints when it decides to print, and sometimes it doesn't print what you want.
Of course: it drinks as much as a football fan in a PMU bar on a World Cup night
Spending 40 minutes printing a damn 7-page document (not even double-sided, the drivers are so bad I didn't want to mess up the poor thing), I think it's a bit lame.
Thank goodness Epson is a well-known brand, they're giving us a product worthy of a totally mysterious Chinese brand.
And cherry on the cake: the printer comes to break the nuts if you have the misfortune to use compatible cartridges, not to give more money has these swindlers at Epson.
It's a 0 poity. A printer that works better in network than in USB under Windows, the concept was daring, but they did it.
PS: Official overpriced cartridges of course, but it's so minor compared to all the other problems I have with this thing, which is as useful as a rock
I am very happy with this printer and it meets my expectations.
This is the 4th epson printer since I started using computers.
The printer works perfectly and is easy to install and fully functional.

The printer worked very well .......... The printer worked fine until I changed the cartridges that came with it.
I have been using the printer for a while now, but the black and blue are working fine, but the yellow is not working well and the red is almost unusable. I have done more than a dozen head cleanings, but nothing seems to work, yet it seems that the level of the red cartridge is going down.
I have dismantled the cartridges several times to check their assembly. I have used two packs of Epson official 502 cartridges with no result, at the price they cost: I would have been better off putting the printer directly in the bin.
In short, I can tell you that I am frankly disappointed and I want to limit the expenses on this machine now. I have contacted Epson's customer service ...... to be continued
I've been using it on my network with wifi and it's very easy to use from PCs from windows 10 to Vista, and tablets.
Fast, good quality printing from both PCs and an Android tablet.
The scanner works very well in wifi from PCs, or directly from it to any PC on the network, very useful when the PC is not right next door.
I also like the scanner used with the document feeder to scan multiple pages automatically.
