I bought this bracket for my holiday home which is rented out during the season. As suggested in a review I preferred to drill 4 holes in the base to fix it to plasterboard. The small size of the bracket and the way it hangs on the wall mean that it should be able to withstand any mishandling by tenants.
I have a large 49-inch computer screen that weighs about 15 kg.
Fixed on a plasterboard wall, I have not encountered any problems.
The wall mount is fixed and does not allow the screen to be oriented vertically or horizontally. But this is perfectly understandable when you see and buy this item.
I did however adjust the vertical orientation of the screen with a few washers on the wall mount.
The installation and removal of the screen on the wall mount is as easy as can be. Very practical.
I did however drill 4 holes in the wall mount to ensure that it was securely attached to the wall (my screen is quite heavy). Only 2 fixing holes are provided, which seemed light to me considering the weight of this support which can go up to 20 Kg.
The space between the wall and the screen is minimal, which guarantees the best effect once the installation is complete. (Just over 2 cm).
I would recommend this wall mount as it meets my expectations perfectly.
Many screws are provided to match the different mounting needs.
I have given this rating because the product meets my expectations. The product is very easy to install and I use it for my 24 inch screen PC which I put on the wall to save space on my desk.
