Precise and enveloping soundAt the heart of the ultimate Q Series is the Uni-Q driver. This proprietary technology places the tweeter at the acoustic centre of the mid/bass cone, allowing the acoustic ideal of the single source to be achieved. The result is a more detailed and accurate three-dimensional sound image, which is dispersed more evenly throughout the room than any other conventional speaker can provide. Uni-Q's ultra-wide dispersion technology is further enhanced by KEF's crown waveguide around the tweeter dome. |

Uncompromising designThe closed midrange enclosure reduces the load on the Uni-Q cone, delivering a clear, detailed midrange while delivering cleaner, more powerful bass. The Uni-Q driver is isolated in a closed cabinet to reduce distortion. In addition to a tweeter with a damped tube loading that allows sound to escape gently from the back of the driver, treble performance is optimal and a new low-distortion coil on the crossover provides cleaner bass. |
Power and precisionThe bass drivers now have new front and rear suspensions, which provide cleaner bass at high volumes. The new cone structure improves the quality of the midrange, while the Auxiliary Bass Radiator (ABR) and its new suspension provide a perfectly controlled and very impressive bass. |
