I've had it for a year and I recommend it without hesitation because it's so great!
Perfect for those who love silence and reliability.
Excellent packaging, timely delivery.
Product conforms.
My only regret is that I had to order a 550W power supply when a 460W power supply was sufficient. The problem is that it is no longer in the catalogue.
Frankly, what can you say about a diet that does what you expect it to do? Nothing, and at the end of the day, maybe that's what makes a good power supply. So, nothing to say for me... except that some cables can be recalcitrant, but that's a personal matter.
It is quiet, and runs my AMD Ryzen 5 3600 and NVIDIA GeForce 2060 SUPER based setup without a problem.
The modular cables allow you to plug in only the cables you need, eliminating unnecessary cables in the tower that take up space and potentially prevent good airflow.
Admittedly, the big power cable from the motherboard is a bit stiff to bend properly, but you get there. I ran it along the holes in my tower so it wouldn't dangle anywhere.
The power supply cables are too stiff, difficult to shape.
The quality is otherwise very good.
Everyone knows LDLC power supplies which are often rebadged brand power supplies ( SEASONIC in general ). I already bought a non-modular LDLC 400W GOLD 6 years ago and it still runs very well and quietly in another PC!
Here we have a power supply that looks like a Seasonic FOCUS PX 550 Platinum sold for about 140€ against 100€ for the LDLC.
Complete package (including power supply cable which is not always the case anymore), modular (a first for me), PLATINUM certification guaranteeing a minimal heating and therefore a perfectly efficient hybrid ventilation (the ventilation is only done in games or video compression).
At this level the ventilation is very discreet and is anyway covered by the case fans which are already at half speed in a well made speed regulation!
Configuration : RYZEN 2200G + 8GO + SSD + DD + R9 280X running before with an ANTEC HCG 400W Bronze
With some utilities, we can see that the power supply is perfectly stable.
It's a good investment, 550W being more than enough no matter what configuration you have (except if SLI or 2500€ machine minimum).
It's a good investment, 550W is more than enough for any configuration (except for SLI or 2500€ machine), but it's a good idea to have more cables in the box and to buy more if you need more.
Modular, inaudible and barely noticeable warm-up.
The high efficiency of this power supply is clearly real, it comes as a replacement of a Seasonic S12II-500 in 80+ bronze and you can clearly feel the difference!
Absolutely perfect!
After adopting this product for a home-made firewall.
I set about building a media server for the living room.
The criterion of silence, of course imperative is satisfied.
In a configuration with 10 HDD, two 20 centimeters fans, two others of 12 centimeters all badged Noctua provided by LDLC.
I can confirm that this power supply also meets the stability criteria for multiple users at home, i.e. six people.
Thanks LDLC!
I took this Platinum power supply to be safe.
I don't have a big problem with power (my CG doesn't even need to be powered) but I was disappointed not to find a second cable in the cable bundle to power my cpu. I have an MSI card that has 2 connectors for the cpu (8 + 4)
I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to use it, but I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to use it at all.
In short, it's not a party.
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to buy a new one, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to buy a new one, because it's not a good idea to buy a new one, because it's not a good idea to buy a new one.
Quiet power supply for a small home media server.
Well packaged, thanks LDLC.
I'm glad to hear that the post office is so clumsy, and even worse, that chronopost is playing weight games with the parcels.
