The product is of mediocre quality but corresponding to the price. As usual the transformer and the wire are really not practical and they still preferred a standard of their own than staying on a simple usb for example. The documentation sucks, both on the box and on the internet. In short, it's up to you to get it up and running.
The information is clear but the screen goes to sleep after 15 seconds.
It's not very useful for our need for remote information in the room.
The temperatures are quite accurate. The outdoor sensor works perfectly. Still haven't changed the batteries since December 2019.
Nice presentation, the screen is well readable and the information well organised, easy to install and adjust but.... the outdoor sensor is faulty. It didn't work for more than 5 minutes in total.
Very good value for money.
Good surprise with good quality batteries supplied, and an "eco" function that reduces the screen brightness to maximum: you have to touch the top of the device to restore the display. The documentation is succinct but clear. The device can be set up quickly.
A little advice:
- put the outdoor sensor under cover (out of water and not in direct sunlight)
- Also avoid full sun for the main unit if it is near a window.
- When using for the first time, wait several hours for the data to be read and displayed correctly (especially on the sensor side).
More surprising:
- an undocumented usb port which seems to be an output (???)
- an unexpected alarm clock function on a weather sensor.
Very fast and trouble free delivery. The product is easy to use and works well for the moment. To be seen in time...
