Runs directly on ubuntu. Not tried with Windows. Be careful with the USB connection, it took me 10 minutes to plug it in without damaging the pins. Very quiet and makes coffee. I received the SSD first and then the rest. No problems after 1 month of use.
Very easy to set up even for a layman like me :-) Fast, quiet computer but ... the wifi "seems" undersized to my previous computer which was much faster in this respect
Surely very good material, but for the novices it is not clear at the sale, since the details are in small, characters at the arrival, a computer in kit
I've been using it for a while now and I'm very happy with the way it works. I've been using it for office work and I don't have any regrets.
the pc is not bad at all, except for the case (antec) the front USB plug is not fine enough at the connectors, it is necessary to force to put it on the motherboard, which caused damage on a pine (broken) twisted at first and broken at the rectification of this one of the blow a usb does not function ...... very disappointed however it is far from being the first pc that I mount .....
I have been ordering this PC for a very long time, for the first time I am disappointed with the box which looks archaic.
I was looking for a new computer to replace my 10 year old desktop computer, so I turned to LDLC to make my choice. The skills required to assemble the PC yourself are not huge and some products come with instructions.
The SSD inside is great and allows a fast and efficient launch of Windows. I highly recommend this PC for the price.
I contacted LDLC customer service on the twitter account made for and the person I got was great to answer my questions.
The motherboard is in Micro-ATX format, which means that it only has 2 slots for RAM. Furthermore, it only has 2 SATA ports to connect the hard drive and the SSD. The SSD slots are provided on the tower walls.
PS: I chose the version without Windows and without mounting.
Very good machine, fast and does what it is supposed to do. The drop in rating is due to 2 points:
- Makes a lot more noise than advertised (I had asked about this before). A constant hum is there because the case fans are always on full blast.
- The extra fan (not the one supplied with the Intel processor) is quite difficult to mount: between the thickness of the motherboard and the brackets, there are only one or two threads left to hang the spring screws.
I bought this PC without a system, to install Debian 11 you have to install the kernel 5.15 from the backports, in addition to the non-free firmwares.
Otherwise no graphic card management !
That said with ubuntu 20 it works directly.
Since July 2021 to date: 19-01-2022 NO worries, does not heat up, very fast, and icing on the cake (good surprise) the M2 port also accepts PCIE NVME M² ssd.
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use the same card for all the other devices, but it's a good idea to use the same card for all the other devices in the system. I used a M² NGFF card that was in my drawers since the slot is provided on the motherboard.
I added an internal usb3 card.

I've tested it with linux mint, works perfectly too.
I'm very happy with LDLC as usual, top service and response to technical questions within half a day.
