Overview

All the know-how of Arctic for your PC

This high-performance case fan combines all the know-how that Arctic is known for: quality components, advanced functions, cutting-edge technology and unbeatable prices.

PWM temperature control

The PWM function allows the motherboard to automatically control and adjust the fan speed according to the load and temperature of your computer, ensuring the best possible cooling while minimising noise.

PST Smart Synchronisation

Fitting several fans in your computer will usually result in more efficient cooling. But what's the point if they don't all work together? The PST function allows you to synchronise the different ventilation systems in your machine (case fans, processor fans, RAM fans, etc.) to optimise their use.

Optimised design for maximum efficiency

The shape of the fan blades is the result of years of research and experience by Arctic engineers and is specially designed to optimise airflow and facilitate ventilation, while keeping noise levels to a minimum.

The fan can also be used as a fresh air extractor or hot air extractor.

Designed for continuous operation

This CO (Continuous Operations) version incorporates high quality components. The Japanese designed double ball bearing system ensures reliability and allows for intensive and continuous use, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is the ideal choice for servers and other hardcore gamers' machines that are intended to run every day.

Main features:

  • Case fan
  • Can be used to either draw fresh air into the case or to extract heat from it
  • PWM function for automatic regulation of the speed (and therefore the noise) depending on the heat detected in the case
  • PST function to synchronise the different fans in the system to optimise performance
  • CO (Continuous Operations) version integrating a double Japanese ball bearing system of very high quality, perfectly adapted for intensive use 24/7 (servers...)
  • 4-pin power connector

    Big disappointment

For the price, I didn't expect to receive a revolutionary product, but still...

    - Just like the 'Arctic F12 PWM PST CO', the plastic is of standard quality; which is normal considering the price. This fan is quite noisy, and the cause is mainly the shaft, which makes a loud and unpleasant rubbing sound. Also, there is an equally loud whistling sound, due to the blades.

    - In short, on paper everything looks good, but not in use.
Arctic' has accustomed me to much better, and this purchase is a big disappointment. The only positive point is the price (which is correct).

    Can do better...noise-wise

With the documentation, it is easy to mount and connect to the CM. But to reduce the vibrations and the running noise, I had to add a rubber element between the casing and this fan.
