I give 3 stars because :
For: Good finish, Good ventilation, Solid foot.
Cons: Fans that growl (buzzing that makes bad range, they are not Noctua...), When the laptop is put down the fans growl even more that makes resonance box) at the minimum speed it's worse.
I have put the 2 fans on o-rings, but the growling of the fans persists and they are not balanced, I will change them as soon as possible because I like the case.
I thought it would be bigger to begin with. It's a bit small for my 16" but I didn't think it was any bigger or more interesting
It does its job but is noisy at maximum, at low speed, it is relatively discreet
I can't cut the led (on mac) but as it's fully covered it doesn't matter
The second SB port allows to recover the "lost" port for its power supply - but I don't use it so I didn't test the transfer speed through this way
I bought it to cool my MacBook Pro while playing fortnite. Before using it the computer was heating up to 85 degrees and now it's under 70. Does the job. The small extra usb port is useful for plugging in a mouse. (Mac= only usb-c) I recommend.
Quality product, adjustable in height and cooling speed. Indispensable for cooling a laptop used in bed for example. Nice backlighting. Recommended to increase the life of a laptop by avoiding overheating.
Perfect for refreshing a laptop, a small button to turn off the LEDs would have been a nice touch.
