Great value, excellent value for money, great versatility.
After a month of running in, powered by a Yamaha CRX B370D (2x15W), only CD listening, 38m2 room, low to realistic volume listening: very warm sound, clean and uncluttered bass (I didn't use the supplied foam plug to limit the bass), very articulate midrange (voices are very legible as often on modern speakers), very soft highs but a little behind.
This is their only weak point, which costs them the ultimate star. I would like to point out that the highs are much better than when they came out of the box, perhaps they will become even better with time. They replace JBL with a tweeter in the horn, having accustomed me to chiselled highs.
For small speakers they are already imposing, their Q3010i replacements are even deeper. At this price, the Q3010i are still an excellent deal. The imposed graphite colour makes them easy to maintain, even if my wife would have preferred white for reasons of integration in her home.
In any case, congratulations to QAcoustics for delivering this quality of sound in 38m2 with such a small amplifier (thanks to the 4 inch paper/kevlar speakers), and at this price (thanks to LDLC for this deal) and on all types of music.
