loyal to Corsair...
... and I wasn't disappointed at all. The power supply is silent, stable and coped well with a few voltage variations in my network.
Modular power supplyEvery Corsair power supply is designed by the California engineering team and assembled to exacting specifications. The Modular CX Series benefits from the careful design and testing of the renowned Enthusiast high-power power supplies. Power cables from peripheral devices are not soldered to the power supply. So you can connect only the cables you need to configure your PCI-E cards and storage devices.
Unused cables stay in the box, not in your PC case where they would add to the clutter and impede airflow. Once the power supply is installed, it should be hidden from view. The use of a thermally controlled fan makes the CX modular range quieter in standby. Its large diameter reduces noise, even when you put a lot of strain on the system. |

... and I wasn't disappointed at all. The power supply is silent, stable and coped well with a few voltage variations in my network.
Specifically, I took an improved version of the one I had for ages. May it live as long.
Excellent value for money
I recommend this power supply for all home and professional users
good product
quiet power supply
a very practical connection and allows to have a clean and airy tower.
This power supply does the job for this, I've had it for a while now and nothing to say. As for the modular cables, it's a discovery for me and frankly I'm delighted with it ^^, which allows me to have a nice management cable on the PC
Not yet tested (PC being purchased, piece by piece) but assembly was easy in a medium sized tower.
This is not my first order and it won't be my last at LDLC, but I would like to say that this product disappointed me a little.
-First of all the quality/price is reasonable.
Secondly, the semi-modular design makes my system much lighter.
But still, a power supply that was delivered without its AC POWER CABLE !!!!*
*After contacting the service department, they sent me a cable for FREE! I thank them.
Thank you LDLC for the speed. Semi-modular product, so no unnecessary clutter. Efficient and quiet. Easy to install and with the ventilation from underneath and behind, no air flow in the case.
After 2 weeks of use, the fan started to make intermittent noises. As the days passed, my PC became a jet plane.
I then noticed on several forums that this was a recurring problem for this model of power supply (bearing problem).
In short, I opted for a radical solution: change the fan.
I will not buy any more power supplies from Corsair in the future.
Apart from this problem, the power supply works well.
For the price you get 650W on an 80+ bronze certified power supply. The fact that it is semi-modular is a plus (goodbye MOLEX). The power supply is quiet and does its job properly, to be seen in time.
