8GB which is a little but with a latency that is CL14 compensates well for photo or video software, for gaming it is very limited.
Received on time, in perfect condition. The product is reasonably priced and does the job perfectly!
I am not a big memory specialist but it has been working perfectly in my new PC for a good month now. I bought it because the price/performance ratio suited me. I've been using an AMD platform to try out a non-INTEL PC with RYZEN 5.
RAM purchased to increase the capacity of my PC. Installation without any problems. Very happy to have found the same model 3 years later.
The untimely appearance of blue screens and errors due to a barrette which, after 1 year, no longer worked...
More than 1000 errors on memtest and impossible to use it without having bugs.
I have been surviving for 2 years with only 4GB of RAM, not enough for new games...
Good quality RAM, no more, real announced frequency, good build quality, with a sober design. To buy with eyes closed.
Don't forget to check in the bios that they are set to 2400 (in my case they were set to 2130) and to change the value if they are not.
The low profile allows you to go under fans that go above the ram slots (which is not the case with the Noctua NH-U14S, whose fan stops, on my configuration, at 2mm from the first ram bar).
Even after a 4H gaming session they stay warm or even do not heat up.
I used 8G to "put at ease" my pc under Linux and enjoy my favourite games, emulator or not (Alien Isolation, Bioschock Infinite, Oxygen Not Included which swapped with my 4G on my 8 years old pc) without swapping and without slowing down.
The Kingdom Two Crown game tended to crawl and swap with Proton on Steam with my old 4G config (an E6500 and a gt 730), now it's forgotten.
And for computer graphics, I'm very comfortable with my softs: Inkscape, Blender, Gimp (to process heavy photos and a lot of layers for pre-prod of 2D animations), Fontforge etc. I haven't had the time to test video editing, but I think I'll have to at least double it for this kind of work.
PC configuration:
OS: Linux Debian Buster.
Motherboard: ASUS PRIME Z370-P II
Processor: Intel Core i5-9600K (3.7 GHz / 4.6 GHz)
Cooling unit: Noctua NH-U14S
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX Series Low Profile 8 GB (2x 4 GB) DDR4 2400 MHz CL14
Power supply: Corsair RM650x V2 80PLUS Gold
Graphics Card: ASUS GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB PH-GTX1050TI-4G
HDD: An old Samsung which will be replaced later by one or two ssd depending on budget and needs.
Displays: 1 Asus 1920x1080 vga (connected to the display port of the cg by an adapter) + 1 Dell 1280x1024 dvi (to the dvi port of the cg).
I've been using it for a while now, but it's still a good one. It runs very well with my Asus strix b250m coupled with a small pentium frankly it is only happiness.
I'm very pleased with the quality of the product and the price. I'm very pleased with the quality of the product and the price of the product.
I've pretty much only bought Corsair strips over the years as I've never been disappointed.
Conforms, but needs to go through the bios to upgrade to 2400.
Exemplary finish, low-profile, unobtrusive.
It's still a ram strip. The difference will not be seen with another brand or range I think.
It all depends on the set-ip you want to mount. Black motherboard, black ram strips, black graphics card, black power supply, black case. That does it
I'm waiting to see how long it lasts and how stable it is
I'm not sure how long it will last, but I'm waiting to see how long it will last and how stable it will be.
