    Works perfectly

As soon as I received it, I tested it. Easy to install on my tower, easy to connect to the internal USB connector (correct cable length). I was a bit apprehensive as some comments were negative. But windows 10 recognized it well and even downloaded and installed a driver for the drive. I tested it with an SD card, a USB key and an MS PRO DUO card (even though it's not used much now, it's not much help to people like me who still have a SONY digital camera), and everything was well recognised and worked well in terms of reading. Now, to see in time. I've been using it for a while now, but I'm not sure how long it will last.

    As described

Sufficient length to the internal usb3 connector (19 pins). Neat front panel, works perfectly... I would have liked the same thing in 5.25 format

Does not work on Win 10

For my part, installed under Win 7 in 2016, this card reader worked perfectly. Since the upgrade of my configuration at the beginning of 2018, with a passage under Win 10 this card reader does not function any more!!!!

    USB3 in front

Bought to replace my AK-ICR-3 (!) in USB 2, here is finally the USB 3 in front of my venerable tower! No need to go looking for the USB 3 port crouched under the desk, and for reading memory cards it's night and day.
    All good, I recommend it.

    I had my doubts

    Here is a 2nd opinion
I have used it 3 times and for the 4th time I noticed that the leds that are lit are no longer lit.
Indeed after 1 month of use only the usb port works.
What more can I say, as I said, a 6 month review, even a year, does not give the quality of the product on the longevity...
I don't even want to send it back !!!!

    Well

What else can I say, for the moment everything is fine and fortunately, giving an opinion on 3 weeks after purchase can only be positive unless it breaks down.
I don't think that this can make a choice about the reliability of a product, at least not for me, but for the way it works, for which it was designed.

    Very good product

Easy to use: reads almost all memory card formats.
Complete and easy to install: connects directly to the motherboard via the 20-pin cable.
    Good build quality!
If I had to put only one negative point: it's a pity that there is only the 20-pin USB3 cable ... because if your motherboard has only one slot and it is already used by your front USBs, you won't be able to plug it directly (you'll have to buy a 20-pin/USB3 to 9-pin/USB2 adapter).

    Simple, compatible and efficient

Installs in a snap: a single connector to plug into the internal 20-pin USB3 socket on the motherboard and consumes only one of the two USB3 ports (the second is available next to the memory card slots).

Immediate recognition under Linux (as a usb-storage device: five disks will be added, corresponding to the different memory cards).

Fast transfers with the cards I have tested so far.

As for the negative points, I haven't found any for the moment, except maybe the price (30 euros is a bit expensive for what it is), but it's not a very common device either (so, not a big series)... This may explain it.
