Chronopost / Chronopost Express

Chronopost is available for all items sold and shipped by LDLC.com for deliveries in France (including DOM-TOM, with some exceptions for TOM), Belgium and Switzerland. We also use Chronopost services by default for all shipments to the rest of the world. The tracking of a Chronopost parcel can be done from this link.

 

Chronopost Classic

This delivery method is ideal if you do not necessarily expect next-day delivery, but would like to benefit from the expertise of this carrier. The average delivery time (to which must be added the preparation time of, on average, one day) is 24 hours for metropolitan France, 48 hours for Belgium and approximately 48/72 hours for the French overseas territories. For international shipment, delivery times vary according to the destination country. For French overseas territories, additional time may be required for customs clearance. Deliveries by Chronopost Classic are made from Monday to Friday: Chronopost will not appear on Saturdays for a classic delivery.

 

Chronopost Express

When offered on the product sheet of an eligible item, the Chronopost Express allows for next-day delivery in mainland France for any order placed the day before until 2pm. The delivery times for parcels sent abroad vary from 2 to 5 days depending on the destination. If this option is available, it will be proposed in the list of delivery methods. We will then prepare the order according to a special circuit, allowing same day dispatch and delivery in mainland France the next day before 10am or 1pm (the time depends on the delivery town; it is specified when choosing the delivery method).

To be eligible for express delivery, an order must meet the following criteria:

• order must be registered and validated before 2pm; otherwise, dispatch will be take place the next day;
• order must be placed the day before a working day (no delivery on Sundays and public holidays);
• all items must be available in sufficient quantity;
• all items must have a size and weight corresponding to the Chronopost offer;
• order must be paid by credit card;
• order must be registered on an account previously validated by our services. If this is not the case, we may ask for supporting documents (order processing will then be delayed until documents are received and validated).

 

Compared to a traditional Chronopost delivery, Chronopost Express delivery allows for Saturday delivery (the possibility of Saturday delivery will be confirmed on the website for all orders placed between Thursday 2pm and Friday 2pm).
