Supporting documents

A control procedure may lead us to request certain supporting documents before sending an order.

 

Indeed, when paying by credit card, the only information communicated by the bank is the acceptance or refusal of the transaction. The real identity of the cardholder is not confirmed to us. If the card used is a stolen card, or one whose numbers have been obtained by fraudulent means, we have no way to check it.

 

To prevent such use and to cover you against the risk of your card being used by a third party, we may ask for proof of identity. Similar checks may be carried out when paying with PayPal.

 

Please note that choosing to pay by credit card with 3DSecure will most often allow you to avoid these administrative formalities.
